@sweetsingeruk I would humbly and politley would like to bring to your attention the fact that this song is from the movie made in 1977 and the other song is from the movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna made in 1971. If one would follow the logic you used in this case, that would mean that the child actor grew younger in 6 years. I agree that in theory your argument makes sense, they could have been the same actor. Unfortunately this is not the case. I thank you for your reaction.

i too have a little daughter, 3yrs 9 months and she loves this song. and yes, you are right, any parent would truly appreciate this song and be able to relate to it. you are right too about the ideal image portrayed in the west - unfortunately India does not escape that. skin colour is still considered important, that fair is best ideology is pernicious but all pervasive. the concept of a poster child, whether white trash or fair high caste, is horrid and you should oppose that too.
