when you point at which to cut off its not easy to tell if its the round pin on the board or the pin on the chip

@pekyxiongo You need to have Magic Memory Stick, and you have to hold the up button before putting in the battery, but keep the up button pressed down the whole time until the special screen.

i managed to do this.. just this video was kinda hard to see whats going on tbh :-) but now i have ScummVM and snes emulators taboot! the games are a little laggy tho it being a 1000 psp.. :( but apart from that all is sweet, the firmware is also very tricky to get to grips with if your not used to it.

@lomejorenvideojuegos to unbrick you need pandora, because only pandora has the recovery menu built into it. pandora is pretty simple just very fiddly :) once you;ve got the pandora working hold L or R button when turning on and then i guess you'd flash it in the recovery menu

hey i found a way to melt the battery back together just get a soldering iron and run it against the crack and it should melt and seel the battery case back to the way it was instead of using tape

I totally and completely removed the pin...There is absolutely no metal where the pin used to be...My psp starts up perfectly fine like I didn't do anything to it. I won't say for sure that this doesn't work, but it did not work for my battery.

i have that same battery, Ive seen alot of vids and pics with it, and they say its not pandorable, Your the only one i have seen BUT! u say the battery is broken So there is still no solid proof its pandorable.
