  • well now ur miata has went form gay...to flaming. congrats! it sounds like a man looks like a woman

  • That's what Carrol Shelby did back in the day. Big American engine in a lightweight import body/chassis.

  • Could you imagine pulling up to that a light? I'd be confused, and amazed at the same time. Not only a V-8 but it sound sick at that. Well done.

  • why :( its a pos now

  • Man's motor in a woman's car, tho.

  • @Model192 there is no such thing as a womans car they have no business driving they have better and bigger business in the kitchen

  • wow

  • Could someone tell me a cheap(er) but still good quality v8 build for a miata? suspension/ brakes/ tranny/ motor.... so the whole package. Bottom line is i dont have that much money but would like a fast and fun build. :P

  • @XxUnknownxX8

keep the miatat engine...its like a bigger gokart engine but really great :D

oterwise...buy a used crate engine or someting i heard they cost new 3000 dollars or something...im not really sure^^

  • @XxUnknownxX8 Can't get cheap with engine swaps. Bottom line is: you need money to do it RIGHT. Just slap a turbo on the 1.6l. It may not make 400whp but it'll still get up and go real quick.

  • @XxUnknownxX8 have you ever watched stacy davids gearz? hes on speed channel, they had a project where they put a mustang 5.0 v8 into a miata, did it for under 20 grand

  • @TheBikefish shouldnt cost your more than 6k really

  • @XxUnknownxX8 chevy 350s are the way to go, everything has one, its just small enough to fit, and late model trannys (5 speeds) bolt to them... when i did the swap in my van, engine and transmission was under $1000 (used) its not top notch, but i smoke mustang gt's all day long

  • LOl for the 5 seconds the engine ran it wouldn't have hurt not having the water pump and all the other ancilliries that the serp belt drives. As for the air filter. Same again I doubt he has huge geese flying around his gargage that might get sucked into the air intake LOL

  • hmmm...may be i should put a V8 too in my car...awesome Mita.

  • What transmission did you use man. the corvette's transaxel?

  • awsome!

  • Ya'll are a buncha fuckin newbs.

a car doesn't need the serpentine belt to run. it does need however a timing chain, which it probably has under a cover of sorts. You can run an engine without the water pump for a short amount of time, which is what they did here.

  • Well in spite of the others ... I'd like to say damn.. that lil shit of a car is going to be fricken ballsy... like a go cart on steriods.....lol

  • It's the actual start up,if you look at the throttle cable it constricts a good amount and then releases a little bit right after start up. You dont need anything but the timing chain for a motor to run, and he didnt run it long enough to heat the motor to need the cooling system. Still a dumb idea though. I thought the same thing as everyone else when i first saw it ha

  • The biggest thing you should notice first is the lack of an air filter haha.

  • haha.. i didn't see engine movement or pulleys turning....hhhmmmmmm

  • Comment removed

  • you also didnt notice the lack of a serpentine belt LOL

  • BS! i can see at least 15 reasons y that's not the actual engine running... lame vid

  • @RTcustomPC give me 5 reasons why it's not, lol, ur lame, this car kicks assssSSSAZZZZ

Good job, i wanna do this but Im to poor right now, lol, I put my money into modding/buying excursion diesel. Making my 70 stang running down the track @ 8 secs or less (finally), and finishing my ninja go kart project, hehe.

  • that a lot of weight for such a small car

  • the ls1's and ford 302's dont affect the weight distribution.

  • @RosieKR the LS engines are incredibly light

  • @RosieKR indeed they dont, due to the fact that an ls1 weighs about as much as a feather, same with the 302, i do believe the 1.3L rotary weighs more lol

  • @RosieKR indeed they dont, in addition the reason is that they are full aluminum engines

  • Han e för söt peter (L) :)

  • NICE!!!! Looks like there's plenty of space in that engine bay.

  • Göööööt mos.. :D

kommer bli galet fräck denadära... :)

  • Eyedee - Du är galen! :) /Alfonz
