  • Class act.......

  • Must be 45 years since i first loved this...........still get goosebumps..timeless

  • If love were a solid and tangable thing, and you melted it, I'm sure it would sound like this <3 :)

  • What nobody on this video seems to know is that the Four Tops didn't write their stuff. They were a boy band, just like Nsync or the Backstreet Boys. In fact they were one of the first boy bands.

  • @gahzeyboe really? oh well, it's still better than Justine Beaver

  • How can anyone dislike this song? You know they movin even when they hittin the dislike button.

  • lovelovelove this song :) so singing this for music class

  • i need a girl to sing this with < 3

  • honestly, who the heck dislikes this???!!!!!

  • I was in chorus for five years in elementary and middle school, at two different schools, and we sang the same Motown medley nearly every year. A portion of this song was in it, and it was always my favorite. Beautiful music.

  • just makes me happy

  • Sugarpie Honeybunch...I love this song!

  • It gets better over the years

  • I honestly think no song nowadays like rappers and stuff can't come close to this kind of music.

  • @GarytwiggisGOD "this kind of music" dude, c'mon how can you call this a "kind" ?

THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF MUSIC !!!

  • Ah,1966 at Smittys bar in Kansas City Kansas.I had a new Mustang fastback with a V8 and 4 speed,a great job, lots of girls and the world was mine!I played this song on the jukebox about a million times.Where did those times go?

  • i love this song:)

  • Got pissed when my mom switch the station to 95.9 what caused her to believe that 4:45 song is not long than 2.47 song and plus this song is way better ..

  • Anyone realise that the start sounds like 'Love really hurts without you'?

  • loveeeeeeeeee

  • if your damn in love with a gal you sing her this song... with three other guys

  • this is a bad ass jam

  • I met this girl a couple months ago and this song was playing on the radio the first time we met. I really, really, REALLY like her but I was too late to tell her how I feel about her and now she has a boyfriend :( </3

  • @RoflBeer Dont worry man the same deal happened to me but I showed my girl that I could treat her ten times better than the boyfriend she had could and she dumped him for me. You too may still have a chance you just need to show that you're man enough to show her your feeling regardless of whether she has a bf or not. then again youve gotta have some tact to doing this or you'll make a fool of yourself. dont give up on love man

  • I worked in Philly and every morning after getting off the bus, I walked to a coffee shop near work and played this on the counter juke box....and everyone knew I was there. the waitress would call out, "she's here"....love it. This song is good memories

  • classic

  • Remember the early 60's Motown singing act called The Assholes? Been trying to find their stuff on YouTube. No one listens to that stuff anymore!

  • @PGM09 Ripped off by whom? MOtown was always intended by Berry Gordy to be a hit-producing machine. If a hit could be slightly re-arranged with a different time signature, new lyrics, and different vocalists, Gordy ALWAYS did it. Any number of Motown hits were generated in this way. As supreme producer with total approval and copyright ownership, it was all Berry Gordy's music. No rip offs.

  • To Natalie Belen Carreno. hopefully you see this my love. i love you with all my heart. i love you more than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow. FOR KEEPS baby.

  • <3

  • أستطيع أن أقول كل ما أريد وأنت لا تستطيع أن تفهم لي ، هاها، فزت!

  • If plagiarism leads to songs like this then long live plagiarism!

  • Comment removed

  • this song always reminds me forrest gump :)

  • Odds are back in that time of Motown's history, both I Can't Help Myself & Where Did Our Love Go were probably written by the same writer (or group of writers)

  • @theonlymoo5e Among those writers were Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, and Marvin Gaye.

  • i love this song:)

  • My boyfriends name in my phone is sugar pie honey bunch (:

  • I cant help myself for loving her , im a fool in love for her

  • This song is timeless. In 100 years, 1000 years people will be groving to this.

  • dont you hate peeing with a boner

  • I'm (insert age here) and my opinion is superior to all others.

  • @damonful

    Because you eat your vegetables.

  • I'm sorry but this is a rip off of "Where Did Our Love Go" by The Supremes (released just the year before, go figure).

  • @PGM09 Curious that this would be a rip-off considering it was the same composers (Holland,Dozier,Holland) who wrote all the songs fro both the Supremes and Four Tops.

  • @Farinadog13 Authors do plagiarize themselves occasionally. In this case this should be clear to anyone who studies the progression.

  • @PGM09 Both written by Holland Dozier Holland. Do yourself a favour &check out their catalogue. Considering the finite number of notes on the musical scale it's amazing the variety of inspiring music these artists can produce and continue to bring Joy to generations! So what's to "go figure"?

  • @jaxxstar2 I know. Check my previous answer. And do yourself a favor and learn musical theory.

  • @jaxxstar2

You are on the aim. And nailed it.

    HDH were brilliant.

  • @PGM09 release date has nothing to do with it, it all depends on who wrote the song first

  • @PGM09 Dont be daft fool, it sounds similar but this song is far better than Where Did Our Love Go...

  • @PGM09 It was the same writing team so it doesn't really matter.

  • @PGM09 Doesn't make this song any less amazing.

  • @PGM09 completely different songs

  • @PGM09 You asshole, you just ruined this song for me...

  • @PGM09- they're just a far superior band. even their cover of this song is better:

  • @PGM09 Nope, two seperate songs.

  • @PGM09 Your a dumb fuck. Where did our love go and this was written and produced by the same people. Its a well known fact that H-D-H used previous work of theirs to make new songs. Its not a rip off moron. Go educate yourself before making stupid statements like that.

  • @PGM09 get a life

  • @PGM09

I love both songs, and I have no idea what the hell you're saying when you're calling this classic a "rip-off".

  • @PGM09 men always make anything better

  • Levi Stubbs lead this group, cousin of the amazing Jackie Wilson. What a talented bunch.

  • It's amazing how some people still think that Motown wasn't rock'n'roll music - these guy f***in' cook!!!

  • thats old music

  • feel good music

  • Best of Motown era!

  • they don't make them like that anymore and I remember the Cavern in the late 50's and early 60's.

  • @gedro37 Amazing, I'm from Liverpool and when I see the Cavern I wish it was like it was back then. Rather have one Cavern over any of the clubs in Liverpool today. Shame I never got to see it like it was.

  • @gedro37 I feel sorry for the tourists who are being kidded. It's stilled the Cavern although it isn't even in the same street. Just a car-park now. You can't beat Liverpool.......... God's Little Acre.

  • 2pacs of eminems cost 50 cents. Now thats just ludicris

  • cool, that rhymes!

  • duncan hines commercial from the 80's

  • Great song well placed in "Blood Simple."

  • Also one of my favorites!Takes me back to Smitty's Bar in Kansas City Ks.in 1965.I was 21 years old then and had a new Mustang Fastback with a V-8 and a 4-speed and lots of girlfriends.Gas was .25 cents a gallon for Texaco Firechief 101.Cigarettes were 25 cents a pack out of a machine.Life was drinking and cruising back then. Thanks for posting.

  • what is obama doing in this video?

  • Remember when this song came out the competition was The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Herman's Hermits, the Kinks, the Animals AND this was a #1 HIT. The Four Tops had a string of incredible hits despite the competition. A premier 60's group. Just as important in rock history as the Grateful Dead & any other band you could think of from that era. Levi Stubbs was a monster lead vocalist. It transcended races. Everyone loved this band. Soul music...where is it today?
