I wanna watch :( but i don't think it is out yet in the uk, usually i don't get excited about disney movies, but when i saw this, i realised that I had really missed those wonderful movies like aladin, cinderella and all the classics we all truly treasure. i really can not wait to see this! Plus, it is not just a typical love story, it is a beautiful and exciting journey! as well! it looks like a movie worth watching over and over again!

I agree, the ending was phenomenal! It had some teary moments but there was closure and happiness! I loved the ending because for once it told us what happened in "happily ever after." We find out what they're doing for the rest of their lives, something no other Disney princess movie actually tells us. It was really good!

Please someone tell me; this is one among hundreds of movies (Bolt and Mittens, just to name one) that attemps to get the audience involved in an emotional roller-coaster through "undignified" characters. Do we enjoy that? Really, what do you think? I think, in hindsight, "I was connecting to a frog-girl?!

I personally don't think they're "undignified" but realistic. I as a girl connected with the recent Disney princesses--the rebellious Ariel and Jasmine, the bookworm Belle, etc--than Aurora or Snow White, who dreamed for a prince and fell asleep when the plot required it. Actually, Lion King was my favorite movie, and I really connected with Simba. Disney's got a talent for making us love the most unexpected characters: a lion, a hideous beast, a crossdresser, etc., and hopefully a frog too.

What I don't get is why they named it "Princess and the Frog" when Tiana only becomes a princess after she marry Naveen (and Naveen IS the prince). I think they should just named it "The Frog Prince" :D
