I was born in 84 and I still remember the first time I heard the black album... I was simply amazed ... i have heard many many bands that I really enjoyed listening too (pantera, korn, lamb of god, static x, rammstein, soulfly, mushroomhead, system, marilyn, and others ) but I wasnt amazed up until I heard gojira and all of their songs ... feels like all of their songs are the sequel of the black album... I am not comparing but that is just the way I feel ....
