This movie absolutely breaks your heart....and so does this amazing vid. This is visually stunning, magnificently edited, conveys all the emotions of the characters and elicits such emotion from the viewer. Best of luck in the competition.

I really enjoyed this movie and your video. I need to read the book now. I especially liked how they pictured the family: oblivious to what was going on. But thats how things are. People sometimes choose ignorance over knowledge and knowing what they are going along with is wrong. Poor Bruno and Shmuel and all those Holocaust victims. Its amazing and terrible what people can do to other people. Let us remember to never have another World War.

It's so tragic but beautiful, and ... it's the mother that I really respect - SO much!!! And Bruno is so sweet and naive ... the scene when he dies and watching his father in frantic horror, and his mother screaming when she realised what her son had done ... crying and couldn't stop!

aw it's not stupid to dedicate it to the victims of the Holocaust. It was a terrible thing and it's sweet and considerate that you'd dedicate it to them.
And why on earth does the unawareness and naivety towards the Holocaust make it a bad movie?!! He's a small boy, how would he know? I think his innocence is one of the most beautiful and saddest things about the movie! It's truly heart-wrenching and really makes you think. And very realistic, I like that
I don't think a movie ever made me cry as much as this one did--your video captures the friendship of these 2 boys perfectly. It is sad to watch, but it's a good to be reminded of what happened and the people who died. Thank you for this-it really is beautiful.
I sobbed like mad at the end when I saw this movie. I feel like this movie is a very real, truthful reminder about how innocent children are and how evil people can be. It became painful to watch just how cruel and selfish Bruno's father was but I still found myself smiling at how beautiful Bruno was. He saw people as people, he saw Jews as people. Even though Schmuel was an unwashed prisoner in tattered pj's that didn't mean anything to him.
