Peace is something that needs to happen very soon because War does nothing but Hurt us. In a time when the US is entering a recession (no matter what bush tries to spew out) We cant keep pouring money into a War that had no real basis. Iraq didnt attack Us. The war in Afghanistan is justified but not the War in Iraq. It's interesting that there has been fighting under the middle east each time a Bush has been in office. And we need the democratic president this time to rebuild the economy...

btw in the year 2000 the league of nations voted twice over that Saddam disclose arms and bolth times he refused. in 1993 Saddam had admited to hiding a nuclear weapon somwhere in iraq just after desert storm... but anyways youll get your democratic pres in 09 so we'll see wut happens if we do end this war short

While they are walking in the hot dry desert, rich folks with their expensive cars are driving by and they're protecting THEM so they could get the oil. Democracy ain't bad to spread, but I wish that's what we were REALLY doing rather than this. Hundreds of thousands of mostly innocent Iraqis dead, that's not a way to spread democracy.

The problem with it is how we are trying to spread democracy. We are trying to force it on people that may not want to be democratic. We shouldnt push our views on other nations and we need to mind our own business unless it actually threatens us. Iraq didnt do anything to us. Afghanistan did. Actually if you've seen news reports alot of iraqi's didnt want us there at all. The other thing is we have no right to tell another country how they should govern themselves. We shouldnt force our beliefs on their people. super while i DO agree the world would be a better place without war. You must remember that it IS part of the human condition. Not everyone of course but enough. I do not have problem with "justified" violence when needed, but it MUST be a last resort. But once commited to that course of action then go ALL out. That is my only real problem with the current war. The decision to go to war was made and then it was done half assed. I do salute your thoughts of peace and wish you well.
