Japanese Mangas are just weird as hell. Kick Ass is good when it comes to the storyline and action. It has enough blood & gore to poke your brains out. But Japanese Manga authors are scarier when it comes to gore.

Guys i have a story to tell

When i was in high school i got involved (for just one night) with some bad kids, they stole bikes from peoples homes, they vandilized property (all in one night) and the icing on the cake was that i helped them break into a skate shop and stole $500 worth of stuff, i confessed secretly the next day and got off easy by the judge with just some community service, i found out later that the owner had a heart attack(and recovered) when he found out about his shop

@dahippydude You're right it isn't. They actually toned down a lot of the violence and changed the plot slightly. If they were to do a direct adaptation the movie would not be able to be released full on commercially because it would be considered much too vulgar and violent. Man was I wrong, it is actually much more gory than I thought as before I had only saw the children's trailer and thought it was going to be a movie like the spiderman trilogy and be a 12, with no serious swearing. So I'm regretting saying that comment. The movie does actually live up to the comic I think.
