First Impressions: Penguin Land for the Master System

I just played this game for the first time and it doesn't seem to play properly because I am using a master system conveter which attaches to a Sega Genesis. All the other games have worked. When I start, the penguin moves completely to the left wall. He can only jump, he cannot turn right nor smash the blocks. So I am assuming this is because I am not using a real Master System. I am in the U.S. using the U.S. version presumably. Oh well.

@RpKingman Hey man, thanks for the comment. If I had to guess, I'd say your cart is messed up. The reason why most other games have worked properly is because the Genesis actually has similar parts to the Master System which is why the converter can plug into it without any additional power points as opposed to the 32X or Sega CD. Hard to explain how that works, but a wiki should explain it properly. Oh, and MS carts don't have a region lock. Just thought you might need to know.

I think the flashing bar is showing you how far the egg can fall without cracking.

I know some will say that's obvious, just pointing it out for those who don't think it is.

Oh damn, you're right! I never noticed *that* part. I knew it had something to do with where the egg would fall, but... yeah. Good observation, dude!
