  • About how much would it cost to take fat out of thighs onto breast?. I know you may not know the exact but approximately how much? For someone whose body looks similar to Beyonce.

  • @ididete Depending on the available fat for harvesting, we can increase up to 2 sizes on average. If done without stem cell enhanced fat, the average person will retain anywhere from 40-70% 1 year after the procedure. With stem cell enhanced fat grafts, the average person will retain about 90% 1 year after the procedure. We utilize conscious sedation to minimize any pain and discomfort. Depending on the amount of liposuction performed, recovery and post-op discomfort will vary.

  • Also, do you know if it's safe (or possible) to get a breast lift and then fat transfer?

  • @SerpentStomper

Thanks for the question! It is indeed possible and safe to do a lift before a fat transfer. We routinely perform lifts and fat transfer when needed.

  • What are the negatives to this type of surgery?

  • @SerpentStomper

Thanks for the question! We can only augment about 1-2 sizes with fat transfers, compared to traditional implants one can go as large as they want. Also, there is a percentage of the fat that re-absorbs and can vary from patient to patient. Liposuction is needed for this procedure so patients must have enough fat for harvesting. It costs more than traditional breast implants.

  • @CiaoBellaMedicalSpa Does it increase chances of breast cancer?

  • @SerpentStomper

Presently, there is no data in humans showing that fat injected into the breast causes breast cancer. Thousands of breast fat grafting cases have been performed world-wide, and many of them in breast cancer patients. There has NOT been an increase in breast cancer rates and surgeons have been transferring blocks of fat to breasts for breast reconstruction for around three decades.

  • i think this is the best way of augmentation cause it's not silicone it's the woman's our body part that was contributed, this is highly recomended.

  • I thought of this procedure 15 years ago. I was laughed at. =P

  • Is it cheaper or more expensive than implants??

  • @flordistil24 It costs more than traditional implants because the patient also has to have a liposuction procedure. This can be very beneficial to some as they can have the liposuction in trouble areas that are hard to get rid off. Traditional implants also have to be swapped out every 10 years or so that can drive the price higher in the long run.

  • I'd like to know what happen if you loose weight?..

  • @flordistil24 Significant weight loss will result in some loss of the fat transfered to the breast.

  • NICE SHARING INFORMATION.....THANK

  • I'n gaining weight for this. I don't want to be skinnier than I am.

  • If the fat is re-absorbed into the body, does this mean it will take elsewhere? or is it actually excreted from the body? Also, how long does this process take (fat that dies/excreted from body)?

  • @sydco10 Good questionthe fat that does not take (usually 20-30% of injected fat) is excreted from the body completely. On average it takes about 1-3 months for the fat that does not take to be excreted from the body. However, during the initial harvest of fat the doctor accounts for this loss so more fat is stored frozen in case the patient wants more volume laterhope this helps!
