What is the music? I've wondered for years.

The muisc used in the opening of Monster Movie Matinee was from two sources. It combined the piece "Metaluna Catastrophe" from the movie This Island Earth. The errie organ music was from it was a combination of an obscure piece from an old NYC based music library service ( i think Valentino) called "bassballs" (the low bowed cello creepy talk-over section)

oh my f-ng god this show used to scare the shit out of me when i was a kid growing up in Verona New York in the early 70's

the only thing missing was the dry ice fog otherwise it's a geat effot and brings back alot of memories

Dry ice is not that easy to obtain, these days. Digital fog effects didn't look right, so I opted to leave it out.

Joe has produced a wonderful tribute to a fondly remembered Syracuse television series. His effort, time and creativity abound in this fantastic video. BRAVO, Joe!

if you ever want to try it with the fog effect SuperWalmart usually has mini fog machines on sale dirt cheap right after halloween. I think they go for under 20 bucks. Great modelwork and attention to detail. Makes me want to see a new version of Monster Movie Matinee done.
