btw - sie musste sich nicht in talkshows verkaufen, konnte ihre Kleider anbehalten i. Ggs. zu allen aktuellen Frontfrauen, wie Shakira oder Kylie Minogue und verliert dabei nichts an Präsenz. Ein Auftritt in Jeansjacke - wo gibts heute sowas noch? Shakira in Kopulationshaltung als "Wolfsfrau", Kylie Minogue oder Sarah Connor in raffinierten Ausziehkleidchen. Tja - hier kann man Musik hören, gute Musik, powermusik - in Jeansjacke.

Frumpy are one of the best Krutrock groups Germany ever produced. I got to know them a few years ago and was mesmerized immensely. Inga Rumpf has a huge voice that just makes you say WOW...she's absolutely amazing & wonderful. The band's sound is so rich, complete and full of soul. 5*

Frumpy waren damals eine absolut einzigartige Band. Dieser Sound von einer deutschen Band (ganz ehrlich: wer hätte sich vorher sowas vorstellen können), dann noch mit einer so jungen und so hochbegabten Sängerin, die eine für jene Zeit wirklich einzigartige Stimme besaß... das war etwas ganz und gar Besonderes. Dieses Besondere hat Inga bis heute fraglos beibehalten. Eine Wahnsinns-Ausstrahlung, die von Frumpy ausging und die Rockwelt auf den Kopf stellte. Saustark bis heute!!

Thanks for posting this! Great to see and hear it again! Inga Rumpf with her 1st-class-voice belonged to those, who made the German rock-scene in the 70s so unique. Frumpy and later Atlantis were super krautrock bands. And nearly everyone (male) I knew, was deeply in love with Inga anyway :-)!!!!
