So, I never played this game I always wanted to kuz I'm a huge fan of the old school Final Fight games. I never got to play this when it came out though. Does anyone recommend it? Or not? I heard a lot of ppl say it sucked. Hit me up plz.

@SnakeEater871 its ok it wasnt as good as everybody thought it would be but it wasnt as bad as everybody said it was if you want to play this and if you say you were a huge final fight fan back in the day i would say this is a pretty solid rental but you probably wont find it for rent i say try and buy it cheap online and either keep it or sell it online

@BYOSProductions My guess is that people hated the Game was because of the Story. It's said that the Emulation of the Bonus Game "Final Fight" was bad, Great News for FF:Double Impact.

I'd just play Arcade Mode with Haggar but I never got time to get this Game.

It does look great (Arcade only) with Story being about Kyle's Brother and takes Events into Future (Haggar, not Mayor) with Haggar/Guy as Supporting Roles, with Free Roam, not so FF-Style, only Arcade is.

My only complaint was I wanted to see more cameo appearances from the original bosses. I really would have liked to see, Sodom, and Rolento in this; they were my favorites.

Those two sluts, Roxy and Poison, would have been a cool addition, too. Lol!

I don't care what anyone says. I own this game and I think it turned out very well. The biggest complaint I hear about this game is the "glow" drug in the story and the later boss fights with the mutants, and I see their point, it's not realistic. But the way I see it, neither were Double Dragon 1 & 2 (the shadow boss?) and those and classics. And look at the Streets of Rage series, those have some bizzar boss fights and those are classics. I wouldn't want brawlers to be totally realistic.

Like Spikeout, Target Renegade, Double Dragon, 2 Crude Dudes, all those types of games. Its not about having a massive move list. It's about having fun, picking up random weapons and pieces of food laying on the floor. Its about double team moves and using your various punch/kick combos in various ways. i miss those days/games. :(

This game isnt all that bad. the story was pretty weird for an FF game but it was playable, and the arcade mode is great fun with a friend if you like the original games, especially since guy, cody and haggar are playable characters in that mode.

Totally agree with this, I loved final fight - used to play it on snes with my older brother years ago. I really think it would be a hit if they made another one for xbox 360 or ps3 they could add so much to it, combining guns with fun melee combat(wrestling moves as well), something which even games like gta seem to be missing(haven't played the new one so i don't know if it has improved since gta sa). I could rant on about this but my word count is running out and I hope I made my point.

I read the bad reviews - and still bought it. It's fun, but very repetitive, the storyline will make you go "WTF?!" more than once, the acting is just... no.

The music is pretty good - not my kinda music but tolerable. The game also includes Final Fight (arcade), but the emulation is kinda crappy.

However, I DID enjoy it a lot. If you're a fan of mindless beat-em' ups, you'll like it. :)

You have to meet Haggar for the first time in the story mode and when you meet guy, you have to escape the burning dojo with guy. That's how you unlock them
