a real carbine has alot more smoke output, not like theres a forest fire but a puff per shell not only out of the barrel but out of the chamber, and 7 times out of ten in real life you wont have a muzzle flash, but as far as movies it adds a dynamic that audiences like, but i think if you vary between flash brightness it should look a little more realistic while keeping that flare. i know this video is old but if you're making any in the future.

Things need to be fixed. Shell cases don't go backward like that. it would fly out between 70 or 90 degree angle. when your mag is empty ur bolt didn't lock back. and flashing at the barrel is so fake lol.. i give you a credit at the recoil... but still that recoil is a bit weak after all this video is a D-

why are people thumbing up his "reversed patch" theory for it being on correctly, the stars are always supposed to point forward, the patch on his left arm is on wrong, he has it on backwards.. look it up if you dont believe me.

@ForgetNayr : no dude the reverse patch goes on the right arm, stars AWAYS lead bro,think of it as running forward, if u run forward the stripes will wave behind you and stars will lead, trust me ive got plenty of friends and some family in the military.see the reverse flag on the left side of your helmet? thats the correct way, research it if u dont believe me. and btw the mac10 LOOKS good on ur back, looks like youre ready to fight to the death! haha.

@ForgetNayr Zencookies is correct, the reverse flag should go on your right shoulder, stars should always lead going in to battle. You represent a flagpole.

Yes the brass often does fly pretty far. I fired a buddies AR-15 & all the casings flew about 10-15feet (i would kno cause i picked em all up).
