gosh how often does your boy practice. he is amazing once again as i commented on other videos. I would love to learn but i am 28 and almost feel that it would have been better to learn younger.

It varies a bit on what he is doing. In the weeks before a recital, concert or competition on non-school days he might do three or four hours. Normal school days perhaps an hour or so max. It is never to late to start learning. My wife is a flute teacher her oldest pupil a widower who started in his eighties, she also has two middle aged lady pupils both of whose daughters she used to teach, the started when kids left home!

I started learning the harp about 2 years ago at 54. Give it a go - it sounds beautiful, however you play it!

Hi, Ben was 4 1/2 when he started. This video was made when he was eleven. He is now 12 and at the moment he is in Amsterdam as he is due to give a concert at the World Harp Congress on Wednesday.
