it's a good buy for any jake/donnie darko fan. i still prefer the original theatrical release, but yeah, this cut hints more about the tangent universe, although i think the audio commentary with richard and jake on the original release was just as informative. the director's cut *does* have the fun of kevin smith joining kelly for a commentary.
