I used to work at a helicopter outfit that would have it's aircraft used in movies. What they would do is use water washable paint. I'm guessing that is what they did here and in the big movie when they painted the airplane.

skydiving over California City. Watched it when I was a kid on the Loft wall. My Dad did the flying scenes.

It's Allman not Almond, and yes I'm very familiar with the Allman Brothers Band. I really doubt Truman was intentionally made to look like him.

Yeah I think it could be the same plane. The car is different. Here it's a two-door, in the movie it's a four-door.
