  • If im fishin channel drops i like a Carolina Rig cuz its traditionally used for deeper running ... when im up by the dock flippin a worm off a spinning reel i always choose texas rig .. a good tip when texas rigging is putting a weight stopper about 3 inches above the worm to give it an awesome swimming action !!!!

  • I love to fish a Texas Rigged plastic. It's definitely a great tactic to have in ones fishing arsenal!

  • GHey I checked out your videoand made my first texas rig. I caught three 4 and half punders on my first texas rig. Thank you for all the help. I cant belive I didnt know about this before lol.

  • Thanks for answering! How do you do a yo yo or slow to start retrieve? I checked for videos showing these but didn't see any. Do you have a link? Thanks!

  • No problem.. check out my video's on spinner bait presentation. This will give you an idea on the retrieve. It is the same just differnt bait. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

  • You can let it set, but is is a good idea to use a reeling method to increase sightings by fish. Methods to use are yo-yo and slow roll to start. Happy fishing

  • I've seen a bunch of vids on how to texas rig the bait, but nothing on what to do after you cast. Do you let it sit there or reel it in or what?

  • Thanks!
