That teaser and just about everything else from bungie makes you think the game would have been an emotional story driven experience. Then the game came out and it was far from that. I like this teaser though, it reminds me of what I thought the game would be.
Really?This trailer showed exactly what Halo Reach was like.It was all about the Fall of Reach and the spartans sacrifcing their lives to stop the covenant.The "where not going anywhere" exactly fits in with the actual game.And dude, i have yet to see a better ending this generation than the ending of Halo Reach.
The story in reach wasnt told well at all. I didnt read any books and I hardly knew what was going on because very little was explained. They advertised the game like it was gonna have such emotional and great story telling but it had none of that. I didnt even know what happened to reach until a fan on youtube told me it was glassed. That sad when you get story info for a game from some1 on youtube.
At the end during the epilogue, When Halsey, in a voice over, tells the player(s) that Reach, along with 6's remains, ("your body, your armor") were "glassed" along with the rest of the planet, but says there's hope, with a picture of 6's damaged helmet on a recovering Reach (you can tell it's recovering because grass and vegetation are growing again, instead of burned glass and smoldering rubble in the opening scene).

@madara221 Just keep looking at the left side of the screen till 30 sec mark, look for bulky human shape! i think that ship is the one that fought the covie ship with john and the others onboard, when james got blown onto space.

@nightstriker2000 Yeah you just gotta look hard. I'm just saying it would make sense if it was James because they had a battle 1v1 in space, the spartans jumped onto the covie ship and fought on the outside of it's surface and james jetpack got a needle in it, which damaged his pack and sent him hurling into space. So I think it could be james body, and that human ship must be the one that cheif and the other spartans were on. All just a theory though lol

That teaser and just about everything else from bungie makes you think the game would have been an emotional story driven experience. Then the game came out and it was far from that. I like this teaser though, it reminds me of what I thought the game would be.

Really?This trailer showed exactly what Halo Reach was like.It was all about the Fall of Reach and the spartans sacrifcing their lives to stop the covenant.The "where not going anywhere" exactly fits in with the actual game.And dude, i have yet to see a better ending this generation than the ending of Halo Reach.

The story in reach wasnt told well at all. I didnt read any books and I hardly knew what was going on because very little was explained. They advertised the game like it was gonna have such emotional and great story telling but it had none of that. I didnt even know what happened to reach until a fan on youtube told me it was glassed. That sad when you get story info for a game from some1 on youtube.

At the end during the epilogue, When Halsey, in a voice over, tells the player(s) that Reach, along with 6's remains, ("your body, your armor") were "glassed" along with the rest of the planet, but says there's hope, with a picture of 6's damaged helmet on a recovering Reach (you can tell it's recovering because grass and vegetation are growing again, instead of burned glass and smoldering rubble in the opening scene).
