but try to find 22 or even 11 friends who all don't have plans, would like to play on the same day and at the same time of day. Unless you're all a part of a team, that's not easy to do.

Sports games, while not real life, still allow the player to be engaged in the game and have fun. I'm sure most people would rather play for real, but when you don't have 11 friends who all happen to be free and want to play on the same day, then this is the way to go.
