  • there is another song that sampled this song, but i cant find it. his name was like "The Prophrt" or something

  • Nice feet though!

  • phi life cypher. Psy4 de la rime

  • Another underground group does this song as well I just can't fucking remember.

  • Word to the wise:

99.99% of the time... hip-hop samples are from somewhere esle.

If you want to hear Gale on a truly classic cut, Grover Washington, Jr.'s, "Mr. Magic."

  • ERIC GALE, ERIC GALE AND ERIC GALE...the greatest guitarist that ever lived!!!!! Your music gives me so much joy and nothing else compares!!Thank you, thank you and thank you

  • Incorrect there, mr. Smitherene, it's produced by Skitz... haha for once I'm so right

  • @bigdogsleep Haha i wouldn't be surprised if skitz had sampled this, he's one of the best most slept on Producers, not just from this country but worldwide, always had an ear out for a dope sample.

  • @bigdogsleep haha i will let you take that one my man!

  • He had such a nice touch. His work with Bob James on Angela (theme from Taxi)is proof as musicians say "it's not how many, it's which ones you play." Thank you for turning the youngsters on to him.

  • Sampled by DJ Nappa for "A time in chaos" by the UK group Phi Life Cypher back in 1998.

  • @morelltechyahoocom

    LIVING LEGENDS - IMMORTAL SOULS

  • no red ground?

  • @morelltechyahoocom well blockhead turned this into the beat.

  • @morelltechyahoocom Pssf, when it comes to beats barely anything is "original" these days.

  • @ShadowsHaveShadows1 Then you're listening in all the wrong places my friend

  • @SincereLogic By original I meant using absolutely no samples.

  • @ShadowsHaveShadows1 Most producers are shifting away from samples, as publishers and estates want more and more money to clear them. I haven't heard a sample based Hip-Hop song on the radio (which I rarely listen to) in years, well, Otis by Kanye and Jay being the exception. Most of it is all synth driven now, however, it's not done right. Most Hip-Hop now sounds like 90's dance music, and I don't mean that sarcastically, I'm being literal. Anyway, I got sidetracked, I get what you're saying.

  • @morelltechyahoocom

too bad aesop rock didnt even sample it first living legends did

  • gotta love daylight, this song is pretty dope too

  • gotta love this song, daylight is pretty dope too.
