I made the animation just a few days before the deadline of the assignment. We didn't need develope the buildings themselves but just to plan everything out. Also, I think the builings would have been more of a distraction.
@gdb89 Thanks. The tools are very intuitive and all you need to know you can learn in a few hours. Also the fact, that its realtime makes the learning process faster, as you can instantly see all the changes you make.
@Ninaktar Depends if you have any basic knowlage in 3d. If no, then I would suggest you to find a "3d guy" that can quickly guide you throught the terminology. You can browse the lumion 3d website for video tutorials and check out the forum for some help and useful tips.

Man first part is google earth.. and then all the rest is lumion? is that right ? you can edit texts, actions and music?..

@hyman222 The text, clouds, and music was done in post. Lumion 3d does not have such tools to edit these things.

Did they inspire from the SIMS or the other way round, cuz i used it and its like using the sims..so its very easy
