Not much of a jaw crusher really, note it is slabbing the end of the stone at the nip point and not applying any substantial crushing force over the whole rock? This results in poor cubicity so a lot of slabbing, low production and bridging in your secondary, especially if its a cone. If you're going to badge engineer, at least choose a good design to put your name on Sandvik?
I'm seeing Quite a LOT of big rocks that come out, the one I usedto work on crushed them Into dust (basicly) there were Some bigger rocks but not as big as this :/
nice new crushers in nice new sites are all fine and dandy, bring it to kiwi land in the middle of winter and we'll see just how good they are, anyone thats worked portable gear knows that the reality of crushing in hard rock quarries is nothing like whats portrayed in these kind of videos.but being a keen labourer i still love watching the stuff haha "bring it"
great video. I love crushers. I wish I had a crusher, a drilling rig, a 245 Cat, a loader, and a couple rock trucks, and a D-7. Then I would build a bass pond to my head.
The video sucks limes. Even with the mute button on so that there is no white noise, it still sucks limes.

Here's a thought . . . your soon-to-be ex wife is the one in the shovel, the machine is her attorney, and the material being loaded is your balls.
See what comes out the other end? Any questions?

@rasersedge2004 or at least know what kind of stone to feed the Sandvik... maybe the quarrymen will recycle the slabs back to the jay?

These are light duty, the 542 has a tiny screen box and maintenance is a bitch. Nice video though. McCloskey C50, C44 and S190 anyday!!!

I love how that thing just chews up the big boulders in only a few seconds, like they were dirt clods!
kimchiman1000 3 years ago
at 01:13, notice the 542 screener rapidly beginning the cycle of pegging?
rasersedge2004 4 years ago
notice how they cut away just as the jaw was starting to fill up lol
goofybrowns 4 years ago
That was fair enough, the big rock was slowing the flow down but was posing no danger of jamming it. Its normal and good editing.
