Thanks so much for watching and the comments... but it took so much time that it was made into a two part video. I felt it would have really dragged on too long for many people...
awesome video man, just wish you would explain a little more about some of the items u have there. like the pry bar and those tubes u carry stuff in and also the blue item u mentioned in part one for water. and also where you bought them from
that mini tackle box is a great handy idea, then all that stuff isn't just falling around in the pouch. That is an awesome pouch and I'll have to order one, your reviews are excellent.
After watching a few of your vids, I keep expecting you to open a pouch, inside of a pouch, inside of another pouch, only to find another pouch hidden to stash something. Wise choices all the way and excellent videos!
I purchased 2 of these pouches because of this vid,it sure can carry alot of gear ! 1 is a S.E.R.E kit and the other is a B.O.K ! AWESOME pouches ! Going to buy another one soon ! Nice kit thanks for posting !
ppspsd...Hey that's great and it's one of my most used pouches ...Still carry this with me everyday. Take care and thank for watching and the kind comments...
OK thanks for the come back and it looks like Gander no longer carries it but Bass outdoor outfitters does and it's equal distance from my location. I liked you vid and subbed to your channel. :-)
Nice kit you got there, I enjoy the simplicity of it. You should have an everyday carry kit to back that up, as a redundancy of course. But I must ask, how did you get 15 ft of 100mph tape to stay that flat, or did you buy it that way?
Caveman0713 ....This kit is in my EDC bag and I have another kit just like it for my hiking pack...With the duct tape I just took my time and got a good wrinkle free wrap and over time it will flatten out even more with other items on top of it. Thanks for watching.....
Hello Killroy, he mentioned it quickly, but he said he has a small Gerber multi-tool, which typically includes a knife. I'd feel pretty sure that this evaluator has a significant knife in is primary. Cougar, you wouldn't want to drink water out of the Potomac River in D.C. . . I assure you! The last thing we want to do is be in a survival mode, and get sick! Stay safe!
why does everyone worry about purifying water? honestly i'm 56 year old lady in nova scotia. i've been drinking out of streams all my life i think i 'm healthy. lol. ps thx 4 ur vid i love survival stuff.......karen
killroywashere100 in my vid Survival Knife made from a Reciprocating Saw Blade one has been added. I felt a kit such as this should be knife based..Take care
My scale shows 3 lbs loaded....I'll see what I can do on your request sometime. I have 7 other Vid's to film first....Take care and thanks for watching...
More good stuff. Do you think the bag is big enough for larger gauze pads and stuff like that. Will they fit under some of the inner straps?? Also what kind of watch are you wearing? Im looking at a Casio Pathfinder.
I really think gauze would fit ...If you give me a dimension i'll check for you...The watch is a Pathfinder which I have had a couple of years now... great watch....
Thats a great kit - nice review. Looks like you are a big Maxpedition fan, I recently got a Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II bag, quality is amazing. I must take some time and do my first YouTube review!
Thanks...The quality is great that's why I buy it, so yes I'm a big fan. The Falcon ll, Condor ll and the Sitka one of those will be my next pack. You should do a VID on you bag...
The Plano Compact Side By Side is an excellent idea! It turns that pouch into a nice compartmentalized area for small items. Sometimes cotton balls presoaked with petroleum jelly can become too saturated to light quickly with a fire starter. Bring the cotton balls in dry and also bring a tube or two of Vaseline Lip Therapy. They are small and have the same active ingredient as petroleum jelly, white petrolatum.
A lot of things in that little bag! Great presentation. I purchased the FR-1 after seeing your video. I couldn't resist. I'm going to have weeks of fun putting it all together. THANKS!
Thanks so much !!
