  • "SAMPLE SNITCHES CATCH STITCHES" HAHAH... word up.

I never liked that shit either. its one thing to discuss music

and samples w ur homies or whatever but its another to try and

put a producer on blast for digging up a sample... Like they

aint done shit! "Awe thats such and such"... thats weak sauce.

If u tryin to educate and help the next producer thats one

thing otherwise please keep ur mouth shut about it. It not

only benifits the music but u as well.

  • sample snitches

  • your the man su-preme. i got a mpc 2500 last year and your youtube videos helped

  • @theplayerbyear thankx fam ..

go to syklopz site to get the dvds

  • Yo God, even if a person gets the SAME sample there's no way that they're are gonna CHOP it the same way!!! I feel you tho, however, the GAME has changed and a person will give you the AMO knowing that it's damn near IMPOSSIBLE for you to RE-CREATE the same EXACT loops, instrumentation, etc... With that being said, i'm'a say Proper Education Always Correct Errors.......

  • naw nigga we all know Japan(Roland) started the 808..lol

    nice vid!

  • yo preme i got a quick question. im jus starting on the producer thing. bout a year deep now. whats a good way to find out what hip hop and producer summits and confrences are goin on on my coast? im out in NC to VA. good lookin

Me may self I sample and use vst's, I'm wit what ever makes music, from a winshelled wiper to a screen door. Keep the hip goin, the game needs dat. Peace:Smove hand Luke

  • If you do hip hop, whatever you get these days, make sure it's got the 808 sounds in whatever device you buy. I made sure the keyboard I bought had the 808 sounds, can't live without them. Especially that fat bass drum in it.

  • the beat is crazzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

  • 2 samples = dopenes!

  • Big smile on my face now, thanks su-preme :)

  • Aww shit, About my last comment, forgive me for this fuck up: I just rewind the vid and noticed you, Preme, weren't exactly _only_ trying to rep Brooklyn.but simply trying to rep NY. Ignore my previous comment, aight? I love this vid, Keep rocking that mpc!

  • Yo! I don't mean to disrespect you in anyway, because I love this vid right here.Keep it a secret, WORD UP! And I love those glasses too But yo,.first time I heard peeps using the 808 was in the Bronx, probably before LL and Run DMC came out; and both Run DMC and LL are from Queens - If you're gonna divide NYC into boroughs and be historical about it, get the facts straight - aight!

  • @CharlesDiggings im not trying to be a hip hop historian.

i just mentioned run and ll because they are from nyc and are more commonly known than some of nyc pioneers of hip hop that come from the bronx.

plus i like run and ll.

my channel is really for the kids that are getting into beat making.

im trying to spark idea's in the new beat makers mind...

i really just want people to enjoy making music to forget about the money and fame just have fun.

  • @supreme7g

    well said

su u bacicly taught (and arestill teaching me) to produce n im not even a kid im 27. i used to listen to enter the 36 chambers and wutag forever as a teen and think making beats on that level was impossible, this was before the internet was widely available and i lived out in the country in the uk. if it wasnt for people such as yourself su then people wishing to lern to make instrus wud be lerning from lame vids like 'ghettobadboy13yrsold fl studio tutorial 1'

  • @supreme7g

one of the illist producers out there out the kindness of his heart helps people out by giving out free tutorials on youtube, and you jus wanna nit pik on somthing he vaigly mentioned but didnt go into in full.

this vid is not entitled 'hip hop history'

why not take a pop at lil wayne, 50, soulja boy or somone who deserves it?

  • Yo, Preme thank you for keep it HIP HOP

    LOVE BRO KRACKHOUSE MUSIC GRMANY.......

  • dude llcoolj and run dmc used a drums was done with the dmx drums

    do your home work....

i was there day one at the birth of hip hop!

yeah i was there as hip hop was being created and heard for the first ...

I AM A WITNESS TO THE BREATH OF THE MOST POWERFUL MUSIC TO BE GIVEN TO THIS WORLD. HIP HOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU WE DONT STOP.

  • yo preme lov from philly keep tha bangers!!

  • Hey, good video, where is possible bay your dvd from Italy???

  • @2sh8 goto syklopz the site is in the vid at the end....

you have to get it on line....

  • dope.. continued blessings..

  • thats hip hop right there all day, though i gotta say i got the 1000 and had alot of fun but now id rather use the mpd and logic (cause its a pain in the ass tracking out from the mpc)

  • ha...good stuff 808's classic...never gonna stop.

  • Si-Fu Su-Preme in action!

  • Stop sample snitchin!! serious what part of hip-hop is that???

  • I'm using Patch Phrase for an ill drum loop that is too difficult to play over and I have to change the BPM on it, but the only way to do that is to make a proper Patch Phrase out of it...

  • I was using Patch Phrase for this ill drum loop I had that I needed to change the speed on. The beat was too complext to play over so I just looped it, but like I said I need to make it a good Patch Phrase so that I can change the BPM

  • Yo Preme, I'm having trouble with Patch Phrase, my samples just aren't coming out smooth (too choppy) and I can't seem to get the tempo right, would you please do a video specifically to address those two issues, (How to find the BPM of a sample, and How to properly chop a sample to be used as a Patched Phrase), thanx, Peace!

  • @BKLYNBOY7 i show how to find the bpm in supreme the beat maker vol.1 dvd.

wgy are you changing a sample to a patch phrase...

    leave it as a sample.....

just becuse it's there dont mean you have to touch it lol.

just becauce they put it there dont mean that it work or that you need it...

all im saying is that a sample is a sample and nothing more...

  • @BKLYNBOY7 send the sample to me .

i'll find the bpm for you and it will still be a sample not a patch...

  • Ready for Vol 3!!! Vol 1 & 2 was off the chain fam!!! I've learned a lot from you fam...hit me up when 3 drops this week...you have me on email and FB! Holla at me fam!!!! Much respect!!!!

  • Nice video, su-preme! I have a question though - during that sample beat at like 2:00, you play that whole beat with one pad. It sounds like you've got the pad set to mono instead of poly, yet at about 2:06 I'm hearing the snare and the kick at the same time, almost like if you had it set to poly and the sample overlapped. How did you pull that off or are you using two pads at that part?

  • @BeatsFromDP EACH PAD IS ON MONO BUT THE PROGRAM IS ON POLY...

SUPREME THE BEAT MAKER DVD'S SHOW HOW TO DO EVERY THING ON THE MPC...

    GOTO SYKLOPZ

  • Dope

  • I have purchase ur DVD tutorial cant wait to receive it....Wu tang 4 Life....God Bless

  • Hip Hop started in NEW YORK that's the only real HIP HOP out there. Everything else is just a bite.

    5 stars

  • Supreme does it again. Big UPs.

  • Su-preme my brother, wht up this Ur Li'l Bro Cool Cal. N U keep preachi'n my bro, cause Ur right alot of these cats out her r really tryi'n 2 mess the game up. Snitchi'n, tryi'n their damn best 2 complicate samples n actually lose the essence of the music or beat itself! Stay up Bro holla' so we can link up! Peace!!! Cool Cal out....

  • hey love da video check out my page n video sub n comment ill do it bac

  • 2:38/9:49 - we're going to church on them today, today we're going to church!

  • Supreme god bless u for showcasin that boom bap goodness man the planet needs more grimey shit foreal!!!

Also do u eq your samples before u use em n not just specifically for basslines? although while on topic can i drop a request to see u make a beat that rides a grimey bass sample like its life depends on it

  • how did you add the dope echo effect to the drum break?

  • @bigonez21

That's the way the break is on the record.

  • @slater080808

yeah ur right cause i sped up the break like.50 and it sounds dope

  • I know that drum break. Pretty spooky, huh? I'm sure people have put you on to a shitload of records. Sharing the knowledge is a part of the game, too.

  • dude is wild i saw that last vid wit the super hero had me dyin like them kool keith joints. peace.

  • i understand why you get so heated on "sample snitches" when you only use 1 or 2 samples. not saying its a bad thing to keep it simple... a lot of classics were made that way. but if youre getting really creative with a sample it is interesting to listen to the original and to the result. that way you can challenge other producers to come up with their version as well and see who flips shit the illest.

  • i think you are missing the point.

all im saying is give the new cats a chance to understande the art of hip hop

    by crate digging for samples.

when you give out all the info part of the art is lost.

if you didnt know almost all platinum songs the words and music are simple songs.

it's been that way for many years and it will remain to to stay that way..

now a days that call it dumb down.

that complicated music dont work never did. i send music to labels all the time the ABC rap always win

  • Word...Preme What are the steps for getting my music heard.

    1. ASCAP

    2.Copyright

    ????

what are the procedures to getting placed while protecting your music ..

  • @JerkCough1 ASCAP IS A GOOD START.

YES COPYRIGHT THE MUSIC THAT YOU PLAN TO PUT OUT THERE .

RIGHT HERE ON THE NET IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET SEE AND HEARD. procedures - THERE IS NO ONE WAY TO DO IT ..

    TRY EVERYTHING...

  • Good looking preme.. I use to have a Romanian chick that was a lawyer she did contracts for xzibit and Ice T divorce to his first wife. She was starting to do some contracts for me but she had to dip to Romanian her Grandma got sick. But any way you I have some copyright papers but you have to pay like $50 a per sheet i think IDK haven;t looked into it .

  • my point is, the determining factor to if your beat will be sold or not is up to the artist if they like it or not.I might like something and think it's heat but the cat will pick something way different ?What I thought was not that good happens to be the one they pick. I know you feel me. Why would you copyright beats if you don't know if they will be placed? If I have 30 beats and only 1 beat gets sold, why waste money copyrighting those 30 beats. It would seem useless to copyright every beat

  • @JerkCough1 IF YOU ARE GIVING OUT CD'S TO ARTIST ,LABEL, WITH YOUR MUSIC ON IT.

    YOU SHOULD COPYRIGHT IT...

  • Word man preme be blessed 360 ,,,, you good peoples I got you son.

  • hey su-preme hear a question. I study alot of producer an there one call araab muzik. he a produer from dipset. do u see how he make beat. does it really matter if my skills are not like his. does his skills paid the bills or what

  • hiphop live inside you

    Long live to su-preme king!

    Respect from Mallorca - Spain

  • hey supreme thanks alot for the advice. you show show hoe to become a millionaire. thanks man, you where my final lesson. i just purchase the mpc 2500 cause of you.

  • kool thats whats up....

  • Yo, Preme - your words ring true. The art of Hip-hop is so lost. ....ur right...HAVE FUN! Go dig and keep the art alive! Oh...I got both your DVD's and they are DOPE! Keep it up yo!

  • R.I.P. TO SAMPLE SNITCHES!!!

  • ur the man love the 2010 shades!!!

  • 2 words, james brown, hip hop died 20 years ago
