It sounds like you've got the pad set to mono instead of poly, yet at about 2:06 I'm hearing the snare and the kick at the same time, almost like if you had it set to poly and the sample overlapped. How did you pull that off or are you using two pads at that part?

i understand why you get so heated on "sample snitches" when you only use 1 or 2 samples. not saying its a bad thing to keep it simple... a lot of classics were made that way. but if youre getting really creative with a sample it is interesting to listen to the original and to the result. that way you can challenge other producers to come up with their version as well and see who flips shit the illest.
