A few notes to pass on here.

This was the first major change for KNTV 11 as they dropped the Do You Know the Way to San Jose theme that fall for The One and Only.

In addition, the graphics changed with a ticking clock and that would be used until September 1998 when the 11 Triangle logo was dropped in favor of the Oval red 11 logo during it's final months as an ABC station. Chris Donohoe was the Chief weather anchor until John Farley took over in 1997. Chris was on KTVU as well in 2000-2001.
