too much momentum being used, try keep your body straight and still by engaging your abs, keep your head looking directly up to focus on using only your lats to do the pull up
@bigvai1993 R you serious dude how much straighter can he get his body and that is perfect form and never once got sloppy when he got tired.if you wanna complain about bad form then go check out any crossfit video which I would just call that plain cheating.
@jkerns85 ive seen the crossfit videos they use this same technique as this guy its not so much cheating its just a technique of getting as many pull ups as you can which 'qualify' as a pull up they are identical, if he did them in a proper fashion without throwing his hips forward as momentum to pull himself up he would have better form more like a dead hang pull up, i'm not knocking his strength it is impressive its just in my eyes using too much momentum.
@TheKala321 I always understood chin ups to be pull ups with palms facing in. He is doing palms facing out, which I always considered to be pullups-proper.
I am wondering, how long did it take to for you to perform so much pull ups? I recently started working out and i cant seem to get more than 8 pull ups
Subscribed :) Here's what I'm doing to increase my reps. I do 100 pullups every day except weekends. I use the armstrong pull up program and let's say I've done say 40 reps during the workout, I've got 60 more reps to do spread out the whole day whenever I feel like doing some, as long as I get a total of 100 pullups a day. Do you think this is good for increasing reps or do I have to do all of the pull ups during a shorter period of time than spread out the whole day? Sorry for bad english
@stajvson sounds good to me man i do kind of the same. I do mine on the way to rest room down stairs or any time i go down there for any reason 5, 10 or 15 at a time (no max) then 10, 15 or 20 push ups. Then do my max on saturday or sunday. Plus a run on sunday and sometimes during the weekdays. Legs are stronger because sure they are bigger but they get used all day so I try to do same for upperbody.
@NdzDJ wt?? now your saying lose some weight so i can do more pull ups? huh, i just said that no i will not lose weight because you said that weight doesnt matter......by the way your channel is sooo boring you should make a gay fitness channel... see ya im out.
@NdzDJ if weight doesnt matter like you said then get yourself a 33 pound body vest put it on and then let me see you do 25 pull ups again yea weight doesnt matter=)
bro! that is farrrking awesome! no one can touch you with that.. i see your technique u like to emphasize shoulders alot i might try that out.. you doing very well! ignore the hater bro, theres always gonna be haters on good videos
@musclesuccess bullshit. Records for most number of "something" being done allows for as much rest in the time period. For example, most number for 80kg squats done in 500plus by a Russian, don't tell me he can't stop squatting? There will be periods where he's standing with the barbell on him.
@musclesuccess Just because you have a shitty homemade gym in your videos and TheF0rtress only needs a pull up bar doesn't mean you should come and trash his videos. Let's see you post a video of doing 25 pull ups if you are so tough.
wow fantastic man. what an achievment and what strength considering that most men cant even do one dead hang pull up and thats a fact. Im also a pull up fanatic and i have to ask how many times a week do you do pull ups and as far as volume goes how many when you do work out? Also whats your height and weight? A response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks bro
when u do it fast it's endurance, but if u wanna gain strength do slower and u actually will gain pure strength. Also try putting hands wider and mix triceps push ups with chest push ups.
you are great at pull ups(obviously) but you are so defensive and quick to attack the haters... just ignore them instead of looking immature by talking back
@musclesuccess Don't make excuses, just face that he trains more for this and is better for it. You shouldn't expect to get better at pull ups without specifically training them.
@TheF0rtress Don't worry about musclesuccess, he obviously knows nothing. I am a lightweight and training with the army and still can't manage that, in fact no where near it. Very impressive, keep uploading the tutorial videos etc!
Your fuckin retarded, your probably fat as fuck and cant even do 5 pullups, as long as you stay hanging on the bar, every pullup counts. "man i would love to be superlightweight" hehe u actually just admitted your a fat fuck, whaddya kno? As far as being lightweight goes, a huge bodybuilder with giant muscles and a fat gut would get knocked the fuck out by a smaller quicker guy like this kid.
i have to agree with fortress. like fort said, when u attempt a max doing bodyweight exercises, you are testing for "pound for pound" strength and endurance, not absolute values. i know some ppl try to argue that being lightweight makes pull-ups easier, but that would be a fallacy. and besides, how much do u weight musclesuccess? in all likelyhood, i bet even if fortress straps on some iron to a dip belt to equal ur weight, he can still do more pull-ups than u :) maybe not lol, but u get theidea
@musclesuccess unless he jumped off the bar, he did not rest. the reason he stopped is to breath. when you dont breath, you are depriving your muscles of oxygen, which is pretty much their food. and you keep putting emphasis on weight. so if i was 10 pounds, you would expect me to be able to do a million pull ups non stop? be realistic and like Fortress said, do research.
@musclesuccess lol, hanging isnt resting or cheating. Look up the world records for consecutive pushups/ pull ups. Hanging still puts significant stress on the shoulders...
48 no kipping! Respect. I thought you were done around 35 but you kept coming out a dead hang no problem. My max is 33 but once I go in a dead hang after that, i'm not coming out. nice job great endurance.
Nice videos :) BTW could you give me some tips for pull-ups? I can do them like 20 in a row, but then i start to swing in forward momentum and it starts to hurt my hands :( So if you could advice me on how to stay as stable as you... Ty already
@TheF0rtress People here don't seem to understand that bodyweight to strength ratio is proportional. It doesn't matter how heavy you weight. This is why for bench pressing competitions they measure the weight you lift and divide by your bodyweight. Doesn't matter who's lighter or heavier- just stronger-. I tend to do more pullups when my hands are supinated. How do you get so much strength from pronated arms. Good Job btw! and God Bless!
Where you good at jogging before you started working out? Like how far culd u jog before u got to tired and u had to stop, cuz i saw ur vid of 35 mile run, just amazing, you are blessed man, ur body can take some heavy stuff.
You got bigger and stronger. Respect!! i wouldnt say 47 pull ups though cause the hand walking is similar to one arm rests just shorter cause as you move one arm the pressure of the other arm is completely off. But still over 40!!
I think maybe 15 seconds might be a better length for an intro, especially if you plan to use the same one for all your upcoming videos. But if you are going to vary the clips then a longer one is ok.
I wish I was as good as you. Impressive sir you have motivated me to stay physically fit!
