Well, I'm 15, but I'm trying to take the morals from these songs. As for the trouble, the hard part doesn't end til retirement XD. But I'll enjoy it still the same. I'll play life on hard mode the same way I play Tales of the Abyss. Having fun and level grinding >:3 BRING IT!!!
@MajBlood I'm not pretending to be a child. I openly stated my age. I'm trying to learn from everyting in life. I never said I'm more mature than kids my age, I neer said I was an adult. I openly admitted my age.
@MrInsanity25 You can hang with the adults when you grow up, not before. Know your fucking place. Get off this video and don't pretend like you know anything about life.
@MajBlood I never said I knew anything about life. I was never trying to "hang" with adults. I was just listening to a song I liked from a musical I liked and stating my opinion. There is no place, noone decided for me and noone can decide it for me. I'm a human being not your pet. All of humanity is equal as well as our place.
To all this, I'm 14 and I am not listening to a couple songs because of the content. I'll listen to it later when I'm older, no big deal man.... Though, I have to admit that I really do want to see it ^^;
Does anyone understand as I have so many worldwide supporters that are invisible but visible, and it is so hard to get it for anyone, so I must run circles around people, but try to leave, bits to prove things, yet they seem to keep going in circles, as no one knocks on the door, like Oprah or Anderson Cooper and states lets talk.
What is wrong with you. She was just stating her (wise) opinion. I agree with her. I am 14 and I think that there are several songs that I shouldn't have listened to. You are the ignorant one. You don't realize what good parenting is. You also hate it when people do the right thing because that makes you wrong. I hope that you don't have any kids because they will turn out so messed up.
It kills me that Avenue Q is only playing in New York...and I live in Oklahoma. TT^TT
I know that my mom would love this show if I took her to see it. It's exactly what would appeal to her sense of humor. She already laughs and shakes her head when I sing the songs around her, lol.
@MaakaKarin17 thats not true! I live in dallas TX and they came here is summer (I still didnt get to go thou!) lol you should look it up at the closist theader! i think there still touring
maybe i should put everything im leasrning, and put it into a show! ARE YOU HIGH? AND IM NOT SOME YOUNG KID WHO DOESN"T KNOW ANYTHING! F*** You! funny
lol before i heard the ending, I was like. Hey that's not nice to say! Who are u talking to? lol. It's part of the song! That explains everything. lol
Probably my favourite song from the show, but I really hate the bit at 0:31 when kate goes "there's a fine fine line between love" and then just stops. Did it not really annoy everybody else?
i know what you mean, but I didn't mind cause I thought that stopping there, and not saying, and a waste of your time, helped emphasize the word "love"
The website for London says that it has scenes which may be unsuitable for kids under 12 (meaning that they are) and kids under 5 aren't admitted, also that teenagers are allowed if they're "mature, with a good sense of humour" also, that if parents take your teenage kids to see it, they'll "love you."
Yeah, they run together, like "What Do You Do With A B.A. In English" and "It Sucks To Be Me". That's why sometimes, if you go to find the MP3 for "It Sucks To Be Me" and get "B.A." as well.
Lol! I saw this in April, last April. And it was amazing! Johnny was still in it and he is so hot! I swear during "you can be as loud as the hell you want." And the sex part, me and my best friends were like, "Holy shit!" it was hott! lmao!
@ashlee65432 Because of a few F bombs and sex references? How immature can you get. I bet you just watched the play and laughed at the obscene moments. The lessons the play display are far more intelligent and mature for someone like you to possibly understand.
@MajBlood As a mother of 2, I think I'd prefer my 9 and 12 year olds to not see something as obscene as this. I don't think they've developed the capacity to fully appreciate all of the struggle and plot line of it. Which is why I would say 11 is too young to see it. You can make your own parenting decisions when you have children.
@ashlee65432 Well then you are more shallow than I had originally thought. I suppose you love television shows like Two and a Half men and Family Guy as well? I also suppose you never got a post high school education? Ignorant stupid women like you should not have the right to raise children. They should be taken away from you. However, I take pleasure in knowing that they will probably beat you for being such a bitch when they get older.
Wow. That was awfully uncalled for. Ashlee just gave her opinion on the age-appropriateness of the musical. There was nothing condescending or preachy about the tone of her posts at all. Yet you attack her for apparently no reason.
I agree. Even if the kid was fine with sex and swearing, they may not have enough life experience to relate to the play's themes. I know when I was that age, I didn't think about my purpose in life. The younger the viewer, the greater the risk that they will enjoy the play solely for the music and profanity, while totally missing out on life lessons and nostalgia. While every kid is different, I think they would enjoy Avenue Q more if they have had experience being independent.
@ashlee65432 i haven't even seen it and judging by some of the songs, yeah..... wait until at least(and only if they're educated) 13. i agree 100 percent. i'm 17 and my mom still doesn't like to know i watch south park. nice to know parents still care about what they're kids see and hear. not much of that in tennessee. praise to ya.
