Canada has lost soldiers in the MIddle East and Lost more soldiers in ww1 and ww2 than America. We were over there long before the USA. We are a smaller country so we have less money to go around for things like this. Perhaps our gov't feels it's more important to take care of things on our own soil

Anyone who thinks our police actually ride horses and wear red on regular duty knows very little about Canada. Our police are just like the American police. I'm Canadian. I understand humor and can understand that Red Eye was just trying to be humorous, but the humor was just mean spirited. If we criticize the US it usually ends with us making fun of ourselves too.
One thing we rarely joke about is about any citizens of any country going to war. We may make fun of a government deciding to go to war but the individuals putting their lives on the line, of any army, deserves a certain amount of respect.
