The Bulls would have never been able to win a championship with Ben Gordon as their starting 2 making that much money. I loved Ben Gordon, and it was sad to see him go, but it needed to be done in order for them to take the next step. They were stuck in mediocrity with a 6'3'' starting SG. I'll always love BG for what he did for the Bulls tho, class act and it was fun watching him play.

They would of passed the Heat in my opinion they wouldn't always have to depend on Rose. Derrick Rose is a beast though 1000x better than Gordan. It just would have been a better stronger team. I think the bulls will do as well as last year. Our offense will suffer slightly but Rose is improving and we've still got salmons and hinrich at the 2 to keep up the scoring. We also have deng back so our improved dee should make up for the slight slump in offence

J-salmons can shoot as good and hes smarter and will go into the paint instead of just shooting jumpers all game and plays some nice D,hes better,BG is just a bad starter great 6th man why doesn't he see this

He was my favorite player but inconsistent as hell. Clutch shooter?pretty much. Team leader/player? Not in this sport. Whatever he is bad at, he usually makes up for it with shooting.(usually)

I think the bulls will do as well as last year. Our offense will suffer slightly but Rose is improving and we've still got salmons and hinrich at the 2 to keep up the scoring. We also have deng back so our improved dee should make up for the slight slump in offence

skatenfilm66... u obviously do not watch the bulls... ask yourself, how were the bulls with ben gordon leading the team? terrible... sure they made the playoffs, but nothing came of it... by the way... to be a successful guard in the league, u have to be able to defend and have good handles... the bulls do not need gordon to take ridiculous shots, turn the ball over and take 35 shots per game... they need d rose to be a leader... which is exactly what will happen when bg leaves

hes clutch as hell just like robert horry and he made his career as a 6th man,BG great 6th but not a good starter,and his handles isnt good and hes a chucker we lost game 7 cause he kept chucking 3's when we had the lead about a 10 point lead i like him as a 6th man but again hes no good as a starter

i am a die hard bulls fan and i just wanted to say that if any of you actually think that ben gordon is a good player, u are wrong.... terrible ball handler, terrible defender and an above average 3 point shooter... by him leaving, all he is doing is allowing derrick rose to show who the real leader on that team is... ben gordon is nowhere near the most underrated player in the league... the only reason they have those highlights of his game winners is because he took every one the bulls had

The pistons have a little while to go, but Ben Gordon is a great player and I hope that he will improve himself and the rest of the team, while he is on our team. He is an amazing scorer and I love that in a player, also his defense is underated, mostly because of his size but he is a very tough and persistent defensive player, I can't wait to see him in a Pistons uniform.

the bulls offered ben gordon 50mill 5yrs twice, once last summer and they were prepared to offer him a similar offer. gordon rejected last year offer and didnt give the bulls a chance to compete with det cuz he just took the 1st offer det gave him... the bulls arent cheap.... they have a one of the payrolls in the leauge.... ben wanted 55million n he got it. honestly i dnt think he seriously considered stayin in chicago

But as a bulls fan since hes with Detroit I hope that we kick the crap out of him and the pistons.D-Rose's D will improve I say he will be an elite PG in 3 years and hes better than rondo who needs all stars to thrive.

It's not about the money, it's about the respect. And the Bulls didn't give BG7 any respect when they signed Deng for a bigger and better contract. Everyone knows who the better player is now. I don't think an extra $5 million is what BG7 is after, he's after the respect that he deserve being the best player on the Bulls the past 5 years.

It was all about the money, dude. Wake up. The Bulls did not stop him from scoring as much as he wanted. When Derrick Rose wasn't fire, it was Ben Gordon and the Bulls loved him for it. They gave him the spotlight as he desired. You have to look what Deng offers the Bulls as to why his contract is bigger. Ben is only an OFFENSIVE threat and can be selfish with the ball. I won't. He was very important but still if you are going to be the star player, you need to be complete like Kobe, Lebron, Wade, etc. Carmelo is NOW playing some defense. If you are complete, then yeah pay you BIG, but if you are just an offensive threat you limit your abilities. The Bulls are quite inconsistent anyway. Two years ago they were n the playoff, year after they sucked, then last year playoff, who knows how they will play this year, They are profitable with so-so management.
