My girlfriend is Filipina. Her family had my try balut. It was actually very good :D It really does taste just like a hard boiled egg! They also had me try dinuguan, chicken adobo, kare-kare, and pinakbet :P All were actually very good. Not the personal reaction I expected.
I don't give a shit if our country has a chock full of problems and corruptions, but I want to go back. It's my country, and I am proud to be from it.

My girlfriend is Filipina. Her family had my try balut. It was actually very good :D It really does taste just like a hard boiled egg! They also had me try dinuguan, chicken adobo, kare-kare, and pinakbet :P All were actually very good. Not the personal reaction I expected.

My bf is Philippine and his family eat them balut eggs. I stop eating eggs after seeing that. But they have some awesome food.

@vkyle52 not really but it was really weird how he said it as balut, and when he said salamat to, for some reason, when i teach my friends to say tagalog words, they say it differently like in a weird accent, even spanish fluen friends that i have say it in an american accent.
