Yes, there are cannibanoid receptors in the brain, thats the only reason we get high from it. The same goes with coke, and most other drugs. It's not a matter of "god made it", that argument doesn't even have validity with a lot of people. People chew the raw coca leaf to get high.

Weed contains active chemical compounds, drugs.

Drugs aren't bad, it's the abuse of the drug.
