I personally think the beat is fine. Prehaps you could keep this in mind. Rappers with complex jazz like rhyme patterns could use simplified beats. Complex harmonic beats need (slick) minimalist rhyme patterns. Find the banlance where they dont crowd each other. Good job tho.

if want to improve put much much much more time into your drums. drums can make or break a beat. you have a tom on some repetitive shit and the most basic stock snare ever. i agree that the flute should be gone. just doesnt fit. the chord progression of the synth is nice but you basically need better sound quality and better choice of voices for your instrumentation. and put some time into your shit if you want it to be right. i couldve made this beat in 60 seconds literally. peace.
