Went to see a Budgie tribute band yesterday, they take their name from this track and they ROCKED the venue, If you get chance to see them they're bloody good. Guitarist and drummer also feature in another tribute band, Sack Sabbath!
There is a free app about the making of Budgie's Bandolier album in the iTunes store. It can be located in the iTunes store by searching on Bandolier Budgie. Includes lots of audio interview clips with Burke Shelley.
Made for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Check it out if you have iTunes.
MrFloydianSlip, this band is unbelievable thanks for posting there tunes. The fact that VanHalen covered there music in 75 shows who some of there influences were.
beniu ze SZCZCENIA- polska jako jedyna na świecie pokochała budgie od początku do końca! przypomnę że w 1982 grali jako pierwszy zespół heavymetalowy w naszym kraju
aaaaahhh! i remember this band practising in my cousins basement!! i was only a young teenager then! but still love them 30plus years on! CLASS...stezyrezy
The vocal part form 2:09-4:40 is awesome. This is my favorite part from that song. But in the end I have to say that all songs of Budgie are fantastic!!!
covers come and go and probably make the new boys well bang awesome, but it is budgie that gave it to the world, give them the respect they so deserve, 40 years ago dont forget! and still waiting for the next lot to kick ass like these guys did back in late 60's through 70's
The kings of chainsaw rock! Forty years on and theres still nothing to touch them, Original, visceral, unbridled rock. If this doesnt do it for you you must have died and not noticed.
@shirtcreek Ive met Tony Bourge a few times and hes a great guy. My mate Simon is currently depping in Steve Williams band (original Budgie drummer). I think that four of their first five albums are as good a rock album that has ever been made. Rock royalty without a doubt.
funny as it may sound i appr, them more today then i did then!!!

No bullshit gimmicky image crap like so many more famous bands of the time, just great honest rock at its very best.

@blackbrooke it's hard to remember that it's only three of them! Probably one of the best "trio's" out there ever!
