For Buddhism view, disasters are the result of collective bad karma of a group of people. Let's say a fire destroyed a house and killed couple people. Those people have common bad karma. i'm a muslim. and i love and believe my religion. its nothing wrong if you're showing "ka'abah" in a movie for good, but shaking "ka'abah" is wrong, no one could ever do that besides Allah itself. I know its only a movie, and edited. but, still consider wrong following muslim's rule.
Well like you said it is just a movie. But from the beliefs of a Muslim, isn't it possible that Allah would allow this to happen to the world for some reason? To test people's faith and resolve?
After all, even in reality earthquakes do shake buildings and people, and from a Christian view I believe that relates back to my god.

I saw this film last week. It will definitly win the Academy Award for Best Picture, because it is such a brilliant story.
That was a fucking lie. Though this film looks like it'll be just as fun as Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, actually looks like a combination of both.
