Paramount brought in Russell Watson to remake part of it as the opening for 'Enterprise'. For all practical purposes, the CLOSING theme of 'Enterprise' is the 'Enterprise' theme.

Nevertheless, it does describe the theme of the show very well, and the addition of lyrics makes it an 'out of the box' Star Trek theme. The closing credits are called 'Archer's Theme', by Dennis McCarthy AFAIK.
The Russell Watson version sounds like he's singing karaoke in my opinion. The Rod Stewart version has heart and soul in the singing.
