  • This is outstanding, best thing on the double CD ....wherever it's gone: Kids!

Hey, I'm 59, play drums with guys much younger than me...but they all love this....and so do our audiences in the pubs and clubs in Central Scotland.

  • My favorite on this album. Right off the bat it HITS!

  • I'm a true fan!

  • Thanks for posting. What a pleasant surprise.

  • @WhiteArmy1918 The first rod stewart solo album had keith emerson on it now what does that mean

  • This is a faster version than what originally came out on the vinyl copy.

  • "RockMyPrimsoul"~ジェフ・ベック・グループの躍動曲~ロッドも快調~70年代前ひと時代の息吹が・・・・!!

  • AAaawww... those sweet sweet tones

  • i have the LP...dont know if i should put it on ebay

  • right ON!

  • right ON!

  • Very interesting. So where is this from? I had the original album when it first came out. Yes, I'm an old dog.

  • @Barnekkid It's from the remaster that came out a few years ago I believe. Shouldent be too hard to get your hands on a copy. ;)

  • Yes, I will! I love this version better than the Group's original version. It's better when the tempo's faster- more funky!

  • @cookmoore Yeah, it's pretty groovy eh?

  • @Cream234 Definitely! (maybe)

  • a "true fan?" If you buy the album as soon as it comes out, run home to play it, invite "heads" over to "get into it", play it while vacuuming WITH WIRES ATTACHED, danced, made love, listened in the dark alone, sang loud, thats my comment. I am a true fan.

  • @TheSpottyBody Point taken.

  • What a combo, Rod Stewart-Ron Wood (on bass)-Jeff Beck. Was Mick Waller on drums here?

  • This is an amazing song! Where did you find this version of it?

  • wuhu i´m number 1000

  • i love it

    i´m 14 !

  • @Heavyfanatic And you show good taste her sonny ! lol

  • -this has GOT to be the one of THE most kick ass rockin', classy, bluesy, sexy, funky, straight-shootin' songs of all time...too bad it was one of the most under-rated songs ever....

  • This version should have been added to the original release of Truth. This is much faster and exciting. I always found the other version a little too slow for me. It was still ok anyway, just not as good as this version in my opinion.

  • I agree. It even hints in the liner notes that Beck himself liked this version better and wanted it on the album.

  • *Junior, But the main riffs are quite similar I think. But I don't think there's much lead playing it Snatch it back and hold it.

  • This song I think was definetely influenced by Buddy Guy w/ Juniour Wells's Snatch It Back and Hold it!

  • Hmm, I'll have to look into that, thanks.

  • This version of this song was the B side to his single Tallyman, recorded on February 1, 1967 and released in July of 1967. The version on the "Truth" album was recorded on May 15, 1968 and released in July of 1968.

  • Brilliant, a timeless classic, that guitar rocks all night long! 5*

  • thanx 234 it s a great find

  • OH YES BRILL JEFF but this is not rod i think? so who? jeffs guitar is more expressive in this take too ...nice stuff maybe it is rod ?!

  • It is certainly Rod on this take. Good stuff...

  • @stuartdow it's Rod, so sexyyyyyy

  • @TheSpottyBody Yeah, back when he actually knew how to really rock out with his soul.

  • @Cream234 I have NO DOUBT that man can still rock out with his soul. I am a dash younger than those guys, like I was 14 when Cream came to San Fran and kinda stayed it seemed..., I was 45 mins away. I grew up on this. I saw it in his eyes, movements, his face, he loved the music going through him, he was another instrument, and oooooohe was sexy. Ah
