@Quesoman12 I also have used this bug to may advantage to make a three high secret door, because you are able to stack two pistons on top of each other and power them both from above. And this bug can also be used to make a "block update detector".
But you could also make use of this bug, for example a furnace which starts or stops burning is a updating block, so you can get a signal indirectly from a furnace.
This bug still exists in 1.0, and it's preventing me from making a working piston elevator. :/
