hahahaha, you just have to get used to the HTC Fuze... I've had mine since it came out and I've never had to press hard and it interprets every touch just the way I want it too... you just have to train your fingers how to flow with the phone, and you can be delicate.

At first when the phone came out, it has some minor flaws. Which HTC has released some rom updates for the phone that fixed most of the flaws. Maybe, make another video and check the phone again.

It's a "Smart Phone" Maybe your not "Smart Enough" to use it. Obviously, your just trying to make the Fuze look bad. The phone is smooth as butter to use. "That's if you know how to use it actually". You thought knowing how to use the iPhone meant knowing how to use any touch screen. I like having to press harder because the iPhone is TOO sensitive. And the hard key era will likely never be over until the feel can be replicated on a touch screen. The horizontal flips make sense because its in a sense flicking it off a shelf... a lot more wrong...

i have a question for the htc fuze, for some reason when i connect to the internet everyday i have to retake my battery out because it doesnt work on at&t's connection until i do it and ordered it. is there any way to stop this and keep the active connection without taking the battery out

Yea i have the fuze and i enjoy it quite a bit. This guy can't use this phone for shit, stop fking poking it. oh and iphones are smartphones, just cuz they run on mac instead of windows doesn't make them any less of a smartphone. but anyhoo, you can basically do anything with the phone, just read into it. you can change the order/remove TF3D icons, you can emulate the iphone style screen, or do w/e. this phone is a bit laggy, but would be way less if you mod some of your registry for it.

This guys is basically trying to use the PPC as an iPhone. To make matters worse it is obvious that he has not been playing with the phone that much before he made the review and that is completely unprofessional. If he doesn't understand how the phone works, how can he discern where GUI design mistakes begin and his own incompetence ends?

The Fuze certainly is a nice device. I'm not all that fond of Windows Mobile, but once you get past it's steep learning curve, it's actually far more customizable than *gasp* the Iphone. Anybody that denies that is an idiot.
As for the video reviewer.. if you want to review an Iphone-like device, review the Iphone. Stop treating everything like it's supposed to be.
Everyone commenting on here who is freaking out needs to STFU. Yes, there are several crticisms which are not valid(e.g. to operate TF, you should slide ur finger across the bar), but regardless of the specific examples that he gives, the iphone's screeen, while much lower resolution, is WAY more responsive to finger-touches. This review is supposed to be biassed, it's supposed to show the perspective of an iphone sumpathizer, read/watch other reviews from the Smartphone round robin!
Nothing will beat the Iphone in terms of touch screen responsiveness. There are GREAT alternatives (Storm, G1,Dare), but for *just* touch response, Iphone is hands down, the best.
That being said, does that take away from anybody elses touch screen? No. It just means it's better. I can understand bias, but there's a big, fat, notable line between bias and obnoxious fanboyism. Guess which one this review is.

4:38 - I've never had any problems with it on my Diamond. If the screen were any more sensitive it would activate just by breathing on it.

All due respect man, you suck at reviewing. It's obvious you started this review not liking the phone. You didnt learn how to use the phone. You thought knowing how to use the iPhone meant knowing how to use any touch screen. I like having to press harder because the iPhone is TOO sensitive. And the hard key era will likely never be over until the feel can be replicated on a touch screen. The horizontal flips make sense because its in a sense flicking it off a shelf... a lot more wrong...

Yea i have the fuze and i enjoy it quite a bit. This guy can't use this phone for shit, stop fking poking it. oh and iphones are smartphones, just cuz they run on mac instead of windows doesn't make them any less of a smartphone. but anyhoo, you can basically do anything with the phone, just read into it. you can change the order/remove TF3D icons, you can emulate the iphone style screen, or do w/e. this phone is a bit laggy, but would be way less if you mod some of your registry for it.

The options iphone doesnt have that smart phones have is copy and past, a real note pad not that shitty one on the iphone. And btw u can customize the fuze anyway u want if u have some type of computer intelligence. I was lookin at a site and theres a file you can put into the fuze that makes the touch sensitivity better.

This guys is basically trying to use the PPC as an iPhone. To make matters worse it is obvious that he has not been playing with the phone that much before he made the review and that is completely unprofessional. If he doesn't understand how the phone works, how can he discern where GUI design mistakes begin and his own incompetence ends?
I am about to pick and new phone and find myself hovering between this phone and the iPhone.
This review sadly doesn't really amount to much though.

Continuing on my little rant, this guy obviously hasnt used the fuze before since he was just installing the default programs that come when you first turn on the phone. Obviously a first time user of windows mobile and also an iphone lover boy will have problems. When i first picked up the iphone i could have made a horrible review about it just as this guy did.

I honestly dont think hes pressing the screen, because mine seems to be really sensitive to any kind of touch. This review is typical for an iphone-lover-boy and definitely does not give the full scope of what a windows mobile phone is capable of doing which the iphone simply is not.

The Fuze certainly is a nice device. I'm not all that fond of Windows Mobile, but once you get past it's steep learning curve, it's actually far more customizable than *gasp* the Iphone. Anybody that denies that is an idiot.
As for the video reviewer.. if you want to review an Iphone-like device, review the Iphone. Stop treating everything like it's supposed to be.

Everyone commenting on here who is freaking out needs to STFU. Yes, there are several crticisms which are not valid(e.g. to operate TF, you should slide ur finger across the bar), but regardless of the specific examples that he gives, the iphone's screeen, while much lower resolution, is WAY more responsive to finger-touches. This review is supposed to be biassed, it's supposed to show the perspective of an iphone sumpathizer, read/watch other reviews from the Smartphone round robin!

Let's get some things clear.
Nothing will beat the Iphone in terms of touch screen responsiveness. There are GREAT alternatives (Storm, G1,Dare), but for *just* touch response, Iphone is hands down, the best.
That being said, does that take away from anybody elses touch screen? No. It just means it's better. I can understand bias, but there's a big, fat, notable line between bias and obnoxious fanboyism. Guess which one this review is.
