I know Astro's history of underpants for those who ask why astro is wearing underpants.

In the 1600 series his underpants is built in when he was built by the scientist so it cannot be taken off

In the 1800 series (this one) his underpants is part of a skinsuit that is put on him when Astro was built so it cannot be taken off.

In the 2003 series his underpants is built in just like the 1600 series, cannot be taken off

In 3D the underpants is fused metal chips, cannot be taken off

Weird Astro's regular clothing fused permanently on him ( the green underpants ) has an white lined waistband color instead of solid black at 11:13 when he woke up. You can see a peek of the waistband when he sat up.

The Canadian version of this episode was better scored. While using Mars: Bringer Of War definitely makes sense, the damage scenes done by these marauding robots when using the song, "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" by Grieg. It had a bumbling, comical, and climactic effect.
