  • Another great track Sal. You have blown up my friend. It's great to see God bless a good man! I'm thinking about going to a TD-12 for home practice. How do you feel about going from electic-acoustic and back? You can inbox me if to much to write. Thanks bro. Appreciate your time man.

  • @CCCdrumview Thank you very much. No problem or adjustments to make between the two different kits, only that the V-Drums have a smaller diameter to deal with, but that just makes the sticking more focused to keep contained to a smaller area. I play acoustic in church and on jazz gigs and there really isn't much difference for me.

  • @rhythmantic Thanks bro... I'm hoping it will help with my control.

  • How about two MJ00 Thumbs Up!!!

  • @MikeJamz00 Thanks for stopping by.

  • Love the drum cover Sal. I especially like the fills at 2:54 and 4:38. Very smooth.

  • @azintrepid1 Thanks, appreciate it. Those fills just happened to come out organically, on their own, love it when that happens as opposed to planning it.

  • Great stuff! I often wonder how you feel when you play at church and the Spirit flows through you...when the annointing hits you and you become lost in His touch!

  • @miperr3987 I cry tears of joy.

  • @rhythmantic awesome!

  • Beautiful man. Great job Sal.

  • @guitardds Thank you.

  • Sal always love your Contemporary Christian songs as they are the ministering tools that I need to hear after a rough work day! Nothing like THE WORD to put things in perspective and for peace of mind!!!

  • @SQDLVR I'm pleased to hear that these songs minister to your soul, Eman. Thanks for sharing that.

  • I'm not criticizing but, why do you always doing ghost hits?

  • @flaquen It locks in the groove very tightly and adds a swing to the feel as opposed to a stiff feel. It also creates a rolling forward motion to the rhythm. The main reason is that it is such a part of my playing that it would be difficult not to do it. Have you ever used ghost notes?

  • @flaquen The other thing I should mention is that I ghost depending on the song. Not all songs have it. Such as say The Police songs I've covered, or many others. So it's depends on the type of groove.

  • @flaquen what's wrong with Ghost hits? Believe me, Sal has a Ghost in him that many know nothing about...lol

  • @miperr3987 nothing it's wrong, i never said that........, read first and then coment, i did a question only.....

  • Great song and a great cover Sal. I looked up Hillsong, they have some very cool stuff up on YouTube. Thanx for sharing.

  • @dcrimmen Yea Dave, good to hear that. Hillsong is a song factory in Praise & Worship music. They are a charismatic church, meaning, they let it all hang out in their worship services, praising God with all their hearts, all their strength, all their mind and all their bodies. There are a lot of videos of their worship on YT. Their worship venues are huge stadiums or concert halls.

  • we do a different version of this song at my church. i have a drum cover (drums only) of it on my channel. check it out! :) sure i mess up a little on it, but no big deal.........

  • @stevechambers500 Sure, I'll check it out. And you're right, it's no big deal if something isn't played as planned or supposed to go, you just keep on drumming and keep the groove moving.
