you've got it easy. our cats run us over to wake us up (wallace is a 15 lbs. tonkinese, btw). if that doesn't work, they open the blinds to let the BLAZING SUNLIGHT in.
I used to have a kitty named Link. He was a mix of a stray and a maine coon. Your kitty kinda reminds me of him. Cept mine was gray and black and white. Oh how I miss you Link!!!
ur cat has the same habits as mine does! he meows like mine does! heck, he even purrs like mine does! the only difference is mine is black and white ;D kewl ur kitty is sooo cute! is it a boy or a girl?
