This was one of my absolute fav shows ever! I didn't think the music suffered because the drill was awesome. Honestly...

Love the intro how you started with "We will rock you!" as you come on. I enjoyed the bikes I thought it was a neat visual...

My fav show I ever marched was actually my first year in 2001 -- Spartacus. The music was superb. I hope to find it and copy it onto a cd because it's on VHS haha, and then I'll post it.

im not gonna lie....this show was fairly unimpressive. the energy levels for classic rock shows start too high and have nowhere to go. something about it i just cant hype...

it was damn god marching for a high school yeah, but it just sounded like it came at the expense of the musicality...

just my thoughts...

I totally agree with you. I marched this show, and I hated the music. It was my least favorite show. Bicycle race (the 2nd movement) totally ruined it.

It actually was mostly focused on drill...>.>

I really didn't like this show at first and was upset it was my last at first. But I grew to love it, especially the low brass bubble around me for the tuba piccolo solo.

i didnt really like the distorted sax solo but the trombone solo was great, the whole "bohemian rhapsody" part was great actually.

and you guys always have the craziest inspiration for your shows. queen, tell-tale heart this year, thats cool.

Did I say something wrong? Or am I not allowed an opinion? I stand by what I say. I haven't looked forward to any Poway show since the Mark davis era and I must say that they are a knockout. About Mission, Upland, Etiwanda, and Ayala: They ALL still lack the energy and power that propels Logan to win year after year. It's my opinion.

Wow, Poway is in the same league as Ayala, Upland, Mission Viejo and Etiwanda. Not quite up to the Logan level but almost certainly the fastest and most involved drill in all of California. Good job on establishing your new identity. You guys should really give WBA another shot. I see you guys as a top 5 contender.

Don't make assumptions...

There are plenty of other bands who are ACTUALLY in that caliber.

Do not EVER say Logan is that good. There must be a reason ayala, upland, and etiwanda all went to BOA Grand Nationals, and Logan has stayed here in their home turf winning.

Stop acting childish and go see he videos for yourself. STOP making assumptions about bands based on fame.

yea poway!!!! lol. sux we got like...fourth. ah well. yea, the distortion on the tenor mic was annoying. it used to be at the beginning also, but we took it off. I rocked the t-bone solo. ^-^ I think that was my best time playing it. usually it sounded like crap. >.>

i like how they marched their show and i like the ballad part. to be honest though, the way they chose to use some instruments for certain parts was plain ugly along with how they played out some parts (like the distorted tenor mic). but it was one of my favorie shows.
