  • @PhoenixCrystalHatter It's not really a game as it is a form of linkage to trade information. Watch the three doctors.

  • ... can someone please explain the game of Contact to me? Believe me, I tried to find out on my own, but even the mighty Google failed me.

  • Ten was fantastic. I mean : the same way of speaking, the same motions.... really, you guys were great but Ten was ... fantasticly brilliant.

  • im surprised on how good the tenth doctor looked david tennant haha

  • 7th Doctor is really stood out for me

  • did u guys reherse this? if u did, how many take did it take to do the "rose ur fantastic and u no what? So was I!" cause that part made me ROFL!

  • @TorterraMan3000 A few folks went over thier own parts solo the day before but we didn't rehearse as a full group til literally about an hour or two before going on stage (but everyone had memorized the script by then). We just ran it to death between us in the green room about a dozen or so times til we got comfortable with it.

  • When I saw this for the first time I just about peed myself laughing... And has anybody noticed that when 2 and 7 do their musical act 5 sticks his fingers in his ears! And, by the looks of it, 1 won't be winning Contact anytime soon! "Martha... time is like a big ball of whiney, willy... stuff!" Died laughing!!!! XD

  • Can't believe you guys didn't put a "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" joke into the script!

  • @MastermewtwoALPHA Actually... I did write such a ref joke into the script. The 6th Doctor's original line was "No matter how many times you reverse the polarity of your stirring, you keep turning my tea into carrot juice, carrot juice, carrot juice!" But the actor playing Six got a bit nervous, forgot the line and it came out "stir it with the neutrino stirring stick" (shrug) So it goes!

  • If I were you, and I am!!

  • Poor 9th.... Glad to see ya Tenny!!

  • "If I were you.. and I am"

    PISSED MYSELF!

  • Awesome! I am so glad that there are people in the world that are just as doctor who mad as I am!

  • Brilliant, 9 was the funniest "the only one of us cool enough to have a northern accent"

  • Amazing!! Whoever wrote this was a genius and all your Doctor's were excellent! I especially loved Ten, four, five and nine. Great work guys!

  • If I were you, and I am...

  • Watched this on Sunday evening, just before heading off the internet. Walked into class Monday morning and we're talking about contact between human beings and how we influence others lives. Immediately my brain thought 'Monday Night Contact!' Literally burst out laughing! x This is terrific :D Makes my day x

  • Contact is AWESOME! I love that ability! Has anyone joined KTEH as The 11th Doctor?

  • I love how the ninth doctor doesn't blow a noisemaker like the others when four comes on. oh, and ten was absolutely perfect!

  • THE TENTH, ONE WORD FOR YOU: AWESOME!!!!

REALLY REALLY LOVE THE WAY YOU DID!!!!

  • Allons-y ^^

  • One of the best david tennant impersonations I've ever seen!

  • GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!

  • I believe it is appropriate to say that this Nine was FANTASTIC!

  • "If I where you and i am" ahh four is great! The fans crusified him for being to young, and he's not a woman. ironic 11's played by a girl( as I state the oveus)

  • @Wildave007 That's the whole point.

  • I loved it. the 5th is the best but 4 is the funest

  • "how did 8 regenerate to 9"

    -covers mouth- dont you dare

  • well how come the 7th doctor didnt get a line but i like him as the incarnation

  • @dim432 Because a few of the actors asked to NOT have lines because they felt they wouldn't give a good impersonation or performance as thier Doctor. The 7th Doc was one of them. The 8th and 3rd were the others.

  • @eleventhdr - the "Doctor" brought on by Five at the very end was played by a girl. But she was playing "Matt Smith" in drag essentially. Smith had only been announced with no set costume yet so we based the look on his early publicity photos with the dark turtleneck etc. We had trouble finding an 11th person to play Smith on stage but our friend volunteered last minute and it gave the joke about Smith "being young but at least not being a woman" have a double meaning so we went with it.

  • Awesome. You guys were all brilliant.

  • This? Is EPIC. Absolutely brilliant. CX

  • How do you get a high score at contact? Join as many minds as possible?

  • the guy who played the 10th doctor was FANTASTIC!!! I would swear it was him if I hadn't seen his pic earlier!!

  • So, batfriend66, which doctor are you?

  • @dancergirl - The first

  • @batfriend66 Cool :)

  • Yeah this is funny maybe you should put this one on a dvd or something so those of us who really care abotu all of the Doctors can have this one to laugh for mnay years to come!

one other question toward the end is that a female doctor who incarnation i have always loved that whole idea of a female doctor at last and why not mkae's perfect sense to me thta he might become a she somewhere along the line i do support that and love it!

  • 7th Doctor never got a line but still he is the best

  • that was good :)

Mmm wish doctor who was more popular where i am :/ lol

  • Susan was his grand daughter not his lover!!!

  • @Dooku64 They were referring to her falling in love with a human, not him to her.

  • The 7th Doctor is my favourite Doctor, they should do one with Ace.

  • "If I were you and I am." Perfect DW humor!! :D

This whole thing is beyond amazing! To gather that many cosplayers is just...fantastic! Brilliant! I salute you!!

  • I wanna meet the cutie playing the Tenth Doctor! Incredible.

  • Oh just legendary! Monday night contact made me cry with laughter. You're splendid chaps, all of you! :D xxx

  • Oh just legendary! Monday night contact made me cry with laughter. You're splendid chaps, all of you! :D xxx

  • @dim432 dead ringers lol

  • Tennant is spot on in looks !

  • lol XD I love it... I'm surprised 2 wasn't playing a recorder! instead he spooned with 7 like in the first 7 episode!

  • This was so funny! :)

  • ROFL, The part of the northern accent is HILARIOUS.

  • Ha! The American accents were (unintentionally, I'm sure) what made me laugh the most.

But do not mistake this comment for criticisation! The 'contact' joke nearly made me fall off of my chair.

  • Having seen Eleven's first scene now, his bit at the end is THAT much more funny. XD

  • love it lol

  • Oh god... This is just what I needed after bawing over The End of Time.

  • Who are these people? They are fantastic!

  • I was actually there as a total Doctor Who nerd 11 year old

  • *rolls off the bed laughing* Brilliant!

I must admit, I haven't seen all of the Doctors, but I do love what I've seen. And you all did a great job capturing them!

  • Contact is when time lords join there minds together as one. Saves time explaining to each of their incarnations.

  • omg so good if only it was the actual doctors themselves... nevermind... AWSOME... 1000/5

  • That bit on Matt Smith! LMFAO!

  • I think I just died laughing, and now I'm in Who heaven. Holy Crap.

  • The one playing Tennant is really in his role... Wait, he moves, speaks and jokes like him, is it Tennant ?

  • @remmahsroht Well, he does look a little like him. :)

  • LOVE THIS! You made the costumes yourself?

  • LOL! Didn't understand all the jokes but still brilliant!

  • LOL

Love the girl going nuts as they walk onstage XD

  • "WELCOME, DOCTOR! *FWEE*"

Best part of the entire video... made me laugh so hard! The entire thing's amazing!!

  • Absolutely Brilliant! Well done... =D

  • What is contact?

  • Rofl at poor miserable Nine, sulking and brooding haha This just rocks so hard. :)

  • wow brilliant! you guys made me laugh a lot! great job :D

  • Oh, I absolutely love this! It's fantastic. Is there any way I can read a transcript of this sketch? I saw the photo with all the Doctors and just had to see the sketch for it.

  • Contact XD

  • That Was Really GOOD

    WOW!

  • Brilliant!

I might suggest using the annotations editor to add in the dialogue people couln't hear because of all the laughter. What's being said at 2:45, for example? High score..?

  • This sketch... is God.

  • Agreed

  • I love watching this, makes me laugh every time.

"If I were you and I am..." LOL

    the costumes are great too!

  • Thanks! Much appreciated. A lot of work and effort went into this skit and especially the costumes. You can see a better view of them in the 45 Years and Beyond video also posted here.

  • Oh, the noisemakers got me! XD

    Lovely indeed.

  • "You were crucified for being too young" "Don't worry--that happened to me too." I love that part. I also love the guy who played the fourth doctor--you outham Tom Baker himself!

  • Yes that joke worked out better than I'd hoped! And I'm flattered by the comment, but really... is it truly possible to outham or outdo Tom baker in any way? I mean the man's a legend.

  • Awesome! Just Awesome! Well worth watching it again and again! One of the best fan skits I've ever seen!

  • Subtitles pleeeeeze ;__;

  • brilliant! got to love the northern accent!

  • "...the only one of us cool enough to have an northern accent." lmao, i've always thought that.

    you guys were awesome!

  • That was absolutely brilliant. XD

  • brilliant!!! (that word's been used a lot in these comments hasn't it?) love all the hilarity. especially Nine sulking and Seven and Two's musical extract! I'd love to do one of these or at least try dressing up as a Doctor one day! (Too bad I am a woman. I'm sure that can be overlooked though.)

  • The person who screamed at the end sounded like she was being murdered

  • That was brilliant! ^___^ Wonderful skit, with some lovely scripting. ^___^ Well done!

  • I actually could not hear a word they said. (sorry)

Perhaps you could take a vid of the act just for youtube.

  • Absolutely fabulous! They should come over to Britain and perform, they are seriously awesome! I understood the jokes as well! WOO!

  • great vid, very funny, love the intro music.

but dont you bloody hate it when theres always one girl that screams! fuck me my ears!

  • Careful there! That was the person filming! XD

  • Then she should have known what was coming and been able to control herself.

  • That's right. She should have contained her enthusiasm for seeing her husband and his friends on stage in the one-time performance they'd all been working very hard on, simply for the benefit of people on the internet whom she doesn't even know.

  • Precisely. I'm glad you agree.

  • Actually, she didn't know what was coming.

The whole skit was new to her. In her excitement, she kind of blanked about the microphone. Trust me, she's quite embarrassed about it.

Lastly, She had no idea this was going to be put up on the web. But to her credit she made a chunk of my Hartnell suit and did my makeup.

BTW. you do a very nice Hartnell, MaskedMan66.

  • In that case, my sincere apologies to her. And after all, it's not like she drowned out any dialogue when you all were taking the stage. Congrats to her on the makeup and the "chunk."

*blink* Why, thank you! Were you at Chicago TARDIS, then?

  • No I didn't make it to Chicago Tardis but I have seen a few pictures and caught the "Die Fanboy Die" video that you were in. Funny stuff.

  • No credit to me, dear fellow, just doing my part for a fellow fan; it was all Paul's idea. You'd do the same, I am sure, hmmm?

Incidentally, where did you get your wig? I've cut my hair since November....

  • We got the lace wig for about $1 last year at a spring clear out sale for Western Costumes. The bald cap that was placed over my regular hair before applying the lace wig was more expensive. The makeup took about three hours total.

  • Dang! A buck, really? It looks phenomenal. Wish I could find me one like that-- and I probably wouldn't need a bald cap; I've plenty of forehead.

  • LMAO I BLOODY LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

  • My god, that was epic. (Not only fanboys appreciating the skit, this fangirl adored it too.) XD

  • I agree with that one! There guys are utterly awesome!

  • That was hilarious (what I could understand over the laughter!).

  • Brilliant! Hilarious! :)

I almost fell out of my chair.

  • Now I resent not being able to go to the Gallifrey convention this year even more. This was BRILLIANT!!!!!!!! You all rule!

  • LMFAO. This seriously rocks my world. Great work =D

  • that was great.

  • Fantastically written! Is there a script available?

  • I think the ecstatic screaming sums it up quite well. Gorgeous opening with the graphics and music.

  • Nice!

    That was awesome. :]

  • Thanks for posting.

I laughed so hard, and so did the audience, I missed some of the punchlines when I saw it at Gally.

  • The guy playing Ten looks a lot like him!

    This is brilliant.

  • I loved watching this. I thought it was just the best thing of the whole masquerade.

  • Hahahaha this is brilliant!!!!

it would be cool if you could close-caption it too, cuz I couldn't catch all the jokes :]

  • By the Gods that was brilliant...

  • Molto Bene!! That was fantastic! I love it!!

  • Brilliant! :D

  • Brilliant! Fantastic!! Marvelous!!!

    *whispers* funny accents *giggles*

  • This is absolutely brilliant!

  • So glad to se this up on You Tube, I thought it was awesome that night!

  • That was great! I miss seeing stuff like that. I got to get to sci-fi cons more. Thanks for posting it. And great intro, too!

  • Brilliant job, guys!

    -Amy

  • Where's Cushing?

  • He got blown up along with the first Death Star.XD

  • Holy Cats! Scott, that's a kick-ass intro you put together, thanks! Also - thanks to your lovely wife for filming!

  • I am SO glad that someone got this on tape. I LOVED this sketch.

  • This was simply amazing! So funny I wish I was there to see it! Nice job.

  • Super fun! I was sitting here, listening to it in headphones, and laughing obnoxiously. That was great!

  • Ahahaha, not as embarrassing on rewatch as I feared. XD We did pretty good!! Great intro you put into it, batfriend66!

  • Great work on the intro batfriend66! I was the 4th Doctor in this skit - a "fantastic & indomitable" time was had by all! Kudos to everyone involved- we've proved there's still life in the multi-Doctor story yet!

  • I'm the shortest Matt Smith there ever was. And cutest. ;) Let's apologize in advance for the wig, since we had no brush and were styling it frantically with saliva.

I'm making my friends watch the whole thing; won't let them skip to the end to see just me. You all were bloody indomitable indeed!

  • Friend, you're the first Matt Smith (apart from the man himself) that I've ever seen, so you're also the tallest in my view!

Besides, he's not so tall; it's just the hair...

  • In the words of number 10, "Brilliant!" ;) Love the intro you created!
