I use a wheel too (not a G25 unfortunately) and I really wonder how you can race in a view with the wheel on the screen too - you can see the latency on your screen - drives me mad, so I always drive from bumper cam without any distractions.

oh, so in socom, if the dead zone is big, it wont take much effort to get the guy to stand still. but if theres a small dead zone, the joy stick would be really sensitive and it would be a little more difficult to stay still.

I got dirt 2 a few weeks ago, it is very fun using standard controller (i have just assumed it would be as pants with the wheel as dirt1 was, so i havent bothered trying yet). It was supposed to be set for December 2009, but many people complained about the damage of GT5 during gamescom.

I don't like the game due to the crappy clutch and when you shift it's much much slower.

Maybe since I haven't gotten it for ps3 it's different. But on my computer, it's real annoying.

as a sim? i think gt5p has the steering response and physics done better, but besides the driving physics part of it, nfs shift puts you into the cockpit simulation better, driving fast feels fast and the cockpit shifts and bounces a lot better than gt5p.

I haven't heard any news that it works on the Xbox 360, I wish it did because they got Project Gotham that would do good with this wheel. Microsoft has their own wheel, but I prefer the G25.
