It should also be noted that common stimulants, consumed daily, such as caffeine, have similar effects.

Adult ADHD is totally ignored. It was my first diagnosis along with aspergers, tourettes and OCD. i'M 22 and have grown out of autistic traits. For two years I thought I was going insane. My brain would literally not shut up. I had such bad problems with focusing and addiction to daydreams. Than my psych said I have adult ADHD. I took a quiz and had every one of those symptoms. I have been on Biphentin and it's been a huge help.
Ritalin made me lose weight not gain. It depends on the person. My friend takes it too and he gained over 30+ pounds since last summer. You cannot judge the stimulate by what it does to only a certain percentage if people. When i did not take it i had school trouble. Yes I can say that it has so crappy side-affects but known the less it has So much good use into helping people like me. " its all in your head, not your mouth"

I take concerta daily and it ruins your appetite i weighed 230 and i started taking concerta for my add and i lost 30 pounds in 2 weeks cause the most i would eat in a day was a pickle for lunch and a piece of stake and salad for supper i am a regular pot smoker and it does fix the attention problem when you smoke weed

Dexedrine and Adderall are both the same amphetamine chemical - dextroamphetamine.
It is a powerful stimulant. It has inherent cardiotoxicity (negatively affects heart tissue) and is addictive. I must recommend that people stay away from it. The heart can develop physiological dependence on the drug over time.... so when you stop taking it, you can have electrical problems in conductive tissue...
I do not know how they can hand this stuff out so freely. It's dangers are well known.
Ive been on Adderall XR 20 mg for 9 months now, and my legs always fall asleep, and when i get up i find myself feeling dizzy, and my hearts pulsing abnormally slow. Im worried about the meds im on. Did you have these similar symptoms in the beginning on dexedrine?
