Gibbs Asked By Reporters On Iran Silence

"According to the Washington Times, the US president sent the private letter in May setting out the prospect of "co-operation in regional and bilateral relations" and a resolution of the dispute over Iran's nuclear programme. The message was passed to the Iranian foreign ministry by the Swiss embassy, which represents US interests in Iran. The White House did not deny the letter had been sent."

"The Obama administration has rescinded an offer for Iranian envoys to attend U.S. embassy Fourth of July parties as the violent crackdown in Tehran continues." ...But here is funny part:"No Iranian diplomat had accepted an invitation from U.S. diplomatic posts abroad to attend embassy Fourth of July parties, according to the State Department."

The fact that Obama sent a letter to the most disgusted Iranian political figure, so called "supreme leader" who is NOT elected by people and even worse than that, sending that letter BEFORE the election, shows that Mr Obama seems to have made his choice before Iranian people had a chance to!! it was so immature of Obama to not wait for the outcome of election to send this letter. what he did was a deal with the devil. He betrayed the iranian people.

Obama has to tell people that we are not going to get involved. He campaigned on how wrong it was to get involved with Iraq and so now he has to stay "un-involved" in Iran.......That is UNTIL there is no other choice and he will HAVE to go there and spend 700 Billlion of America's dollars and be the savior there too. Can't wait for that one.
