OMFGGG....all this time i didnt know that gate could friggin open & i am on NG++ sighhh G_G

i actually ran the long way all the way around like an idiot to 'save' him on the otherside of the gate...he took a beating for a minute, was barely alive when i 'saved' him but no, still didnt count cos he didnt cough up a pure clearstone & show up at the base of the stairs leading up to false king

ANYWAY i now know to OPEN the gate for him in NG+++ T^T...

I saved Ostrava in 1-1 and didn't see him in 1-2 and he didn't call fir help in 1-3. I just want that dam key. Am I screwed?

@ACEOFSPAZE Get it during the Dragon God boss battle, you need to have a pure white tendency in this world and a way will be unlocked. But this sword isn't very good and you must have 30 strengh'points.

beating those red eyed guys gives a shitload of souls, in takhe beginning on 1-1 you can do it especially if you have magic, get the cling ring, you should know where that is, then make sure you are ready to use half moon grasses. if he hits you when you arent blocking he does a shit load, if you are blocking its almost like a normal enemy, then just take every miss he does and fire a magic at him.

haha i remember when i decided not to kill him for once i hadnt yet opend the gate i was running from the 3 red knights guarding the penetrator. in a panic i open the gate and to my suprise 2 more red knight behind ostrava. lol oh demon souls though art a heartless bitch :)

@supersniperdevil I checked 1-2 and he neitehr he or the key appeared to be there. Oh well, I guess i'll just have to get pure black CT and get soulbrandt for NG+. Until then i'll have to make do with a not so great weapon.

@alexisgondor I know this is getting repetitive of me but you could try 1-1. He only appears in the next area if you talked to him in the previouse area. If not then yeah you need to start a new game unfortunately. =(

Ostrava is a lil bitch. After saving ass so many times and fighting all those red Knights and almost dying... all i got was some grass. My sword couldn't pierce him any faster after that. Then I got those keys to open the door and fight King Doran and get Demonbrant. That was more worth it.

Ok look. He gives you a bunch of crap all three times you save him. I know why you killed him because i was the same. You save him in 1-1,1-2 and in 1-3. Then right before the boss battle in 1-4 i believe. When you talk to him you gives you the key and tells you his father has become a demon and then he dies. I walked around a bit and went to go across this bridge and he was there as a black phantom...sadly his life was ended by me. ;(

Yeah found that out about 4 days ago when i killed him on NG+ i checked if there were other ways and found it. Couldn't find this video to reply. Either way getting them from Ostrava is a lot more epic than just picking them of the ground -__-
