@krissthemusicman Hey man, the mics are descent enough for the money, not the best, but for £100 a set, they are good for the job i need them for. I will soon be buying a presonus firewire studio project, so that will make the sound a hell of a lot better.
both of you stop, mapex and premier both are not great brands, there is fact and then personal preference. Fact is DW, and Yamaha have the best drums. The 2 biggest companies are Pearl and Tama. And then there is personal preference over lots of other big name companies and then there is custom drums.

Though it is a pretty nice sound on the toms, really nice toms. The snare, ew. But I really like the toms! pretty good drumming but keep practicing!
